Calibrating Your Home Button

  1. I saw this posted on a tech website a while back so I thought I would share it with you all.

    You know how if you've had your device for a while you start to get a little bit of delay when using the home button? Well apparently there's a way to recalibrate it and stop this occurring.

    You need to open one of the standard applications that come installed on your device, such as Weather or Contacts.

    Whilst in the app, hold the power button until the 'Slide To Power Off' overlay appears.

    Release the power button, and instead hold down the home button until it quits the app. This both calibrates your home button and forces the app to quit.

  3. Ah ok, when I did this I couldn't really notice a difference. Has it helped at all?
