It’s no better. Before at least it was listed as a mature app so there was no surprise right? The number of people I have met that joined when they were 15 or 16 and just 35 as their age in pub to have access is no different than kids installing it now and entering whatever age they want. The difference is the knowing. Like going to a movie that somehow got rated PG13 but in reality it should have been rated NC17.
Pimd whales are gonna keep spending. They spend thousands during hunts even more during popular ones.
I already stopped spending. The unnecessary silences alienating players is a problem. The age change is horrendous. The overall censorship for adult players while hypocritically offering content like a fetish collar as a recent gift between players 😳 make the game all adults again.
I know I’m not the only one who’s noticed how ABSOLUTELY Lazy ATA has become? The hunt boxes have been the same template for I don’t even know how long. The hunts are repetitive, everything is more expensive, and so on! You cannot have fun without spending money. It’s also hard to connect with people now because everyone has their group and if you aren’t in it you aren’t seen. I remember when I could join a POTD club and actually build friendships and form a community within that club but now the best I get are role play clubs (NO.) or pay to be in an EC club in which I just sit and hit parties. I miss the old PIMD back when you could laugh and enjoy the game not just sit back and watch.

My job in real life involves ICAC crimes (internet crimes against children). I’ve devoted a lot of time to investigating and prosecuting these crimes as well as eduction on the topic. The targeting of children is prolific and results in catastrophic results for the child victims. I even had a case where this game was specifically mentioned!! It involved a 22 year old man and a 12 year old girl. He met the girl here on PIMD and got her to switch to other social media where pics could be exchanged. He committed solicitation of a child, solicitation of CSAM, and grooming. The things he said were some of the most horrific things I’ve ever seen said. I can’t even go into detail here as it would violate rules. While she shouldn’t have been on the game, this case is a good example of why more stringent rules need to be in place rather than opening it up to children! ATA needs to be more committed to protecting children from the adult predators that exist here. Also for the players, if you’re aware of a predator and have screenshots of their messages, please report it to the NCMEC’s cyber hotline (National Clearing House for Missing and Exploited Children). It’s an online reporting system. Even if you’re not in the US, the predator may be. The guy I mentioned above received 25 years in prison and never even touched the child. So if you are one of these people, just know you need to stop and get help, or you could find yourself facing a long prison sentence too (and eternity in a very unpleasant place). My message to ATA is that you need to be part of the solution, not part of the problem. Do not allow under 17 to be here!! Your content is far too sexualized and inappropriate as it is, let alone for kids. Even trying to setup safeguards won’t change what is happening and kids figure out ways around it. It’s better to take a hardline approach on age restrictions and enforcing them. Children are suffering extreme emotional, psychological problems and even losing their lives from these issues. Do you really want to be part of that?

I feel like my thoughts on the recent changes have been shared by many players who have said it much more eloquently than I would here. even IF they could guarantee that all underage accounts would be restricted (which we know is not possible), they would still be willing to advertise to 13 year olds. truly shameful behaviour. as someone who lives in the same area as the ATA headquarters, I've been wondering if the local news would find this at all interesting. anyways, support 🖤
I'm not spending in game but I definitely support and a 100% agree with this because life of minors are important too and pimd definitely isn't for the kids. Putting pimd in Google play store as pg 12 is one of biggest mistakes someone can do. And due to all perverts and child predators game isn't safe for anyone under 18. The way Google put game pg 12 is like they gave pdfs kids on a silver plate which is disgusting. 😭🤢 I truly hope that they'll change to PG 21 instead of keeping PG 12 💀

Pg means parental guidance. 18+ is adults only Theres a in between of 16+ for teen rated stuff. Things that have more mature things beyond whats suitable for kids, but not so 'bad' to need to be adults only
I know what PG means, I just wrote that I agree with QZ's post on the 1st page and that game shouldn't be on Google play store as pg 12.
