From my understanding, for example, if you spent 100t on your dorms and are at 50mcs, when converted to new system, they’ll make it such that you spent 100t as well just that it may not be 50mcs but rather higher or lower. I’m very excited to see more progression in the game. No point getting upset or angry until the update has taken place. Cant wait to try and reach lcbc in the next 10 years. And I don’t get the hype of fixing your stats as you’ll only get lesser plunder. 🤞🤞🤞
I’m probably in the third group (I’ve been here 8 years.) Just got a lovely new pup who does all the things pups used to do (like buying you all the gifts.) Anyway, I was going to grind for a bit so I could give back to her with an UG. I’m on Tier 7 (going to 9 as I was taught) should I wait until the changes roll out?
W if I log into a cash rebate. L if I log into zero balance. 😂 Better spend it now than to lose it later, I guess?
Tear 1:5K stats =tear1 Tear 2: 249k stats = tear 4 Tear 3: 805k stats = tear 5 Tear 4: 2.52m stats = tear 6 Tear 5: 7.66m stats = tear 7 Tear 6: 22.8m stats = between 8-9 geuss is from here but look at it probably be close to numbers if not maybe 10%-20% more then current tears Tear7=tear 10 Tear8=tear 11 Tear9=tear 12 Tear10 =tear 13 Tear 11=tear 14
“If your Dorm Mates cost more in the new system, the difference will be removed from your account, but your cash will never go below 0.” this part is a bit concerning - i rather you guys not take cash away and let me decide if i want to further upgrade. a lower tier would be better with some cash back than trying to match the closest current tier and also take cash away ):
I'll wait until this rolls out for me to give a full opinion, but I'm with the group that's also a bit concerned about the may lose money part. That part makes me a but uneasy. Also not really a fan of the vague info given. Feels like we could've been given some more concrete figures to know what to expect. This feels like we're walking in the dark and feeling around for a light switch. When we finally get it we don't know what we'll find.
1. It appears that the rollout tiers are based on your profile kcs/mcs/bcs and not how long you've played, so you playing 8 years won't necessarily affect when you'll receive the rollout. 2. I would 100% wait until rollouts are complete before upgrading or opening new dorms etc.
I wasn’t sure whether this referred to stats or years: Brand-new accounts will receive this update first, then gradually to our early and mid-game players, and finally conclude with our dedicated late and end-game vets. Our goal is to have a week’s time between each group’s updates, with everyone receiving the updates within a month’s time after launch.
Definitely goes by stats. Brand new accounts = new accounts will load with the new updates. And then everyone else is bucketed by size. Just cause you’ve played for 12 years but still 50kcs won’t make you a “vet” in ATA’s eyes.
I think I'll reserve judgement for when the update will actually reach me; from the post alone I can't figure out if it's good or bad tbh, it's too generic.
I'm quite excited to see how this rolls out , if we get cash back there's gonna be wars over stolen tuts 🤣🤣 if our cash is deducted 🤣 players might get pissed 😂either way I think it'll be fun to watch 🧐 But I love the part where it is being done to help with the party speed.
I would like to piggyback off of this! Cash isn't always used for upgrading, keep in mind that players keep a storage of cash for PvP use & Tutor use. Players spend hours soloing for this and hundreds if not thousands on EC and DNs to do so. Refunding cash in the update is great! Removing cash from the player that is currently there and not put towards upgrading for a reason, is not. Imagine all that spent real life money and hard work gone when the update hits your account and it's all put towards upgrades you didn't ask for? Ouch. Otherwise, I like the update! Das all. 💕
I did some digging, and the dorm mates are going from t1-t11. As far as exact stats and cost and I can’t say past tier 1 dorm mates because I don’t know how this all has been consolidated past tier 1. The only information I can provide beyond tier 1 are the names of each dorm mate. Each dorm mate tier is broken down into 3 distinct sections — strength base, even base, intel based This is the breakdown for anyone that’s interested regarding dorm mates. — Tier 1: $800 Alexa: strength build — 4,300 strength 700 intel JD: even build — 2,500 strength 2,500 intel Tess: intel build — 700 strength 4,300 intel — Pause: following this same pattern I can confidently say each one will sandwich into the following ( strength | even | intel) — Tier 2: Marco— strength Molly — even Joaquin — intel Tier 3: Dani — strength Violet — even Quinn — intel Tier 4: Carly — strength Zander — even Bianca — intel Tier 5: Bryan — strength Kiran — even Cordelia — intel — Pause: Tier 6 - Tier 10 originally had 6 dorm mates options available. This has now been decreased to 3. This may be where refunds are being factored in. Tier 11-14 still only have 3 dormmate options available. **pls don’t stone me if I’m wrong regarding refunds I’m only inferencing** — Tier 6: Lance — strength Juliette — even Adrianna — intel Tier 7: Steph — strength (originally tier 12 now tier 7) Josie —even (originally tier 12 now tier 7) Foxy — intel (originally tier 12 now tier 7) Tier 8: Niloo — strength Imogen — even Scott — intel Tier 9: Sylvie — strength Bruno — even Rochelle — intel Tier 10: Hunter — strength Lola —even Miles — intel Tier 11: Samantha — strength (originally t14 now t11) Elodie — even (originally t14 now t11) Viktor — intel (originally t14 now t11) Due to the low stats etc I can’t say whether the dorm mates that are staying are going to 1. Cost the same or 2. Yield the same stats.
I’m not trying to sound difficult to please, this is just how I feel on things atm: I can’t really give a full opinion until the update hits, but that’s just it. I’m a little confused as to when this update is supposed to come, as well as what it’s based on. Generalizing into “new, mid, old/vet players” is very vague and ambiguous imo. That could refer to either how many years I’ve played OR the stat range I’m in. A specific range given for either amount of years played and/or stats would have been helpful so I would at least be able to know when to expect this update so I could then prepare accordingly/decide if I want to wait it out or hire new tuts to set my bank and cash balance on hand at 0 so I don’t lose money. That’s my early thoughts on it, I don’t appreciate the vagueness of this post, sorry. I’m hoping it’s a good change. Just I thought it was a little strange to not give specific details on when the update was supposed to hit for each group of players outside of the given dates, as well as what each group of players is based on to determine whether they are “old, new, middle” etc.
“If your Dorm Mates cost more in the new system, the difference will be removed from your account, but your cash will never go below 0.” I usually never comment in forums but this honestly made me so annoyed. If we get forcefully upgraded, we will need our cash to hire tuts. The fact that an update will possibly remove our earned money is ridiculous. This still feels like a half finished idea. I get wanting to fix the imbalance but this will create other issues and unhappy players.
Personally? Balance is great, we’ve been needing it for awhile and it sounds like it’ll level out the playing field a bit, but the cash is what’s majorly an issue. It sounds like to “balance” the higher tiers, taking money from the late mid game to end game players are the plan here in order to do the balancing even if these players have been saving, etc. By trying to balance, wouldn’t you guys technically hurt mid game in a way too depending on the prices you guys have set for us? Since mid game is definitely anyone T7 and higher, the removal of T12 and higher makes us more susceptible of losing money here especially given how we’re already trying to climb and have been saving lately since the promos are gone.
They can’t possibly remove the cash and throw it into thin air. It’ll be converted to stats or something for the same value. Else it’ll be a riot.
Umm… okay, but this post doesn’t really explain much. There’s too much vague information yk. I don’t really understand why you can’t provide actual numbers right away instead of using general statements that just make players question whether this update is actually necessary. I’d also be interested in hearing more details about these things: Tutor payouts have been adjusted to better support balanced progression. Pet stats have been fixed so they no longer count for more power than intended. Overall, the game is extremely unfriendly to new players. There are no proper guides or explanations of the game’s mechanics, and even basic things like builds aren’t explained well. For example, in the current state of the game, aliny build feels almost completely garbage. It would be great if you could address these issues as well.
