If there’s a description add and that description goes beyond the “14 days of grace” please put it in a way that it can be closed and open so it doesn’t clutter but neither writing in such small characters to fit all the texts without hidden the people who post on that Chanel , unless players who advocate this want it to be appearing every time before they post or reach the design channel to have a reminder every time they swipe to it or something more detail. Feel free to share and correct it. a few players have mention on the side of the character es of the letter / text due to a previous update made by the game . *not going to quote every message where a player requesting/ suggest/ recommend a description mention in the last 7 pages.
I love the idea of chats being more organised but I’m also worried about the effects it’d have for the flashers. As well as speaker usages concerns as many others have already mentioned. Also with the overwhelming amount of channels and new guidelines to follow per channel, I think the “chat announcements headlines” that are located on top of the screen for all channels should briefly outline what’s allowed in the sub channels. For examples — Chat Announcements Headlines: Orientation: New x Vet players Q&As Exchange: Trades/ Gifts Union: Gathering events (club banners, bbb, flashes), RS & clean RP requests Thus allowing mods and the pimd community less repetition of the same “this is for this channel/ that belongs in channel xyz.” While it does promote conversation, it just ends up being spam when the information can be readily available at the top of the screens and this will also assist non forum users who don’t check forums.
I'm so confused right now. I had understood Student Union was for club and events related stuff? So banners, LBH calls, raffles, BBBs, stuff like that? But it's also for RP requests and RS hunting and all of that?
Is there still USA campus server and Asian campus server or the different channels will eventually merge everyone across the world ?
Can we get some Devs in here for clarification? Clearly mods even were not notified of these changes or asked for input before they were made. Does everything else not covered here belong to campus? Can chat specific guidelines be posted in the header where "you are now viewing xxx chat" goes?
Great… who cares? How about now let’s get to work on updates that we, the PAYING people, actually want and have been screaming for years to get 😒🌚
with the new chat channels and what will be allowed to be posted, i can't see how anyone can post funny, flirty and mature posts, that aren't sexual, since that could still be silenceable if they're posting to a channel that has nothing to do with it. example: posting to the new Exchange or new Student Union channels, after seeing a friend or acquaintance, and casually chatting since it's "off topic". kind of like when we post banners in exclusive limited time Campus Party, Pride Month, and April Fools only channels accidentally. it would be nice for a 'Lounge' channel for casual chatting for multiple people that isn't necessarily game related and isn't inappropriate or abusive, for players to be goofy with and to catch up a bit with people or make new friends. this also helps with filtering out how 'bloated' a single public channel can sometimes get. this possible channel could also be good for future Mod + Dev Trivia. i know many people will tell fellow players to just take it to DMs anyway, but not everybody has every single person they're acquainted with or friendly with added and we shouldn't have to run to DMS just to talk with others. especially if nothing in the conversation is inappropriate, private/personal or against TOU. about the content not allowed in public channels, i hope that asking people what their bra and panty size and color is part of the new silence policy. it's creepy and 100% the equivalent of asking a man what size his/their genitals are and what color his/their underwear is. it's gross and uncomfortable. i can't speak for everyone, and maybe some of y'all will think i'm being dramatic or 'reaching' but i'm sure there are plenty of women, and men who respect women, who play this game and find it degrading and creepy and very discouraging that something like that isn't silenceable after all this time. while not directly sexual it's definitely broader harassment since they're making it everybody's problem by posting publicly asking to know the size of someone's body parts. it's absolutely a conversation two consenting adults can have in their DMs..... (also your block button is BROKEN; am so tired of seeing blocked individuals posting their creepy stuff in my public channels) now going back on the trading thing, it would be fun if we could edit or delete our own Forum Posts when buying or selling items via text or with picture collages. not being able to edit or delete and re post, has the Forum currently looking cluttered, a little funky and overall a complete eyesore. if we could fix our mistakes and typos and easily update an existing post that something we were looking for has already been bought etc.... it would honestly be amazing! (i know @Atlas is dog tired of editing posts for me lol; i appreciate you 🩵) another issue is when silenced sometimes the reply is pretty much automated and isn't helpful. a friend of mine was silenced for 24 hrs last year for writing "💘Selling Starred Furni/Stats💘" and the reason behind the silence was 'POSTING CONTENT THAT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE IN PUBLIC CHANNELS.' since when my guy? when trying to dispute in Tickets she was then told the action taken against her account was valid. keep in mind it was posted once to Campus Chat and once to Pub Chat. prior to this she had never been silenced before so it was surprising. i myself asked a Dev why that happened and if it could still be disputed since players should be able to post game related content. they honestly had no idea themselves on the why but couldn't do anything on my friends behalf because 1. the 24 hrs ban was already over by then, 2. TOU/Bans/Silences isn't their department and 3. since my friend had already asked to dispute it in Tickets and was told it was valid, it wouldn't make sense for another team member from an unrelated department to butt in. which fair. as it stands, many of us use LINE or Discord and some few Reddit to post trade banners or trade collages, but making an official Forums Page for Buying and Selling and allowing us to edit or delete our own post would be the best route going forward in my opinion. it keeps us ' in-house ' and safer as a community since people like to send malicious links on those platforms. i don't want myself or others to be unjustly silenced over trading in corresponding public channels, or to only have the option of using third party apps if we don't have to. it also has the added benefit of keeping Forums more streamlined, helps avoid lag, and an added bonus of connecting people from both servers. i really hope you guys give it some serious thought and don't say this idea isn't possible, profitable or the Team as a collective whole deem it unnecessary. p.s. may we have an updated speaker tokens limit? 25 isn't enough. 🫤 thanks for reading -🦝🩵
And that is? Any several examples cuz your name ain’t familiar on the suggestions, I’ll try to track down some of your previous comments to bring them up in this thread or other ? That could help.
Can we get confirmed clarity on where “add me” and friend seeking posts are supposed to go? Is this going in campus? Because when I read these definitions for channels all I see is orientation for noobs needing help, exchange for trades, and union for clubs. 👩🏼🦯
Oh wonder about this too! It would be nice to have it merged, so you don’t always dee the same people. Also better community wise.
Now I'm kind of sad though because I just got a warning for my username. I guess my RS and I will have to find new cute matching IGNs. I've been Muschi for so long. 💔
I would LOVE a feature that would allow us to rearrange the chats. I hate how now club chat is all the way at the back now and I don’t want to unstar all the new chats we just got just to get to my club chat faster.
Honestly, the main reason I’m still on this game is because of all the wonderful people I’ve met. That have become family at this point. It’s also became my outlet so I can hoard things in this game instead of real life lol. But lately, it’s getting harder and harder to justify staying. We have been asking for years for certain glitches and bugs to be fixed, yet many of them never get addressed. Instead, they keep adding features that make the game more difficult especially for smaller players. The web store rewards have gotten worse, and then there was the XC event, which felt unnecessarily difficult for a lot of people. Changing the time from every 4 hours to every six hours??? Like give us a break tf? Not gonna lie some of those events just seem like a way to get people to waste their items they were holding onto like bulk recycle furniture or Dns. To help increase prices for something else in game once again. The rates of things have already become trash after the tier updates especially for misc, furniture, tutors, & ec drops. Everything feels like players are being asked to do more while getting less in return. The game keeps getting harder, more time consuming, and less fair. Instead of improving things or listening to players, they just keep adding things that make the game more frustrating. Or randomly update the look of things we never asked for? We ask for the same things over and over, and it seems like the developers do the exact opposite of what the community is and has been asking for. This is just another example of ata ignoring its players once again. But now censoring things that make no sense. Like certain emojis while having Avis that are half naked or literally showing their butts? These chat updates are also not at all neurodivergent friendly and very overstimulating.
It has always been for more time consuming the game. It never was for otherwise even if people have taken more break or log in less weekly. It feel like you were misinformed right at the beginning as new player. And that unfortunate thing that happen to you.
I also got the warning and tried sending in a help ticket to get my name changed, but the username prompts in Help just redirect you to change your name in-game. This post says to send in a help ticket though. I do not have the ECs to change my name. How should I go about this? I sent in a help ticket under Silence appeals in the mean time.
