1 thing, I get the disappointment than it’s done before the “IRL” timing but I tried to think of a week where the event would cover Friday to Sunday to accommodate the players who only play during those days which was a remark brought up that some couldn’t be expected to log in only during the weekdays. *Friday counting for some players as weekend and others as weekdays.
A bit odd it ends before LNY actually begins on the 17th, and I dislike this format for XCs. Love the use of limos to purchase the stats; I have so many excess!
As others have said and mentioned countless times before, things like this don't need a leaderboard. That takes away the sense of community and instead creates a bigger divide. It brings out the greed. Also as it was mentioned, the Paws of Plenty avatar and all furni for this event locked behind a leaderboard is already catering to your big spenders. Then you go and give them tradeable avi boxes which they'll ask outrageous amounts of bentos for. Something like this celebrating a cultural holiday shouldn't have leaderboard content for sure. This is basically a mini hunt running concurrently with our main hunt we have going now, but like half, if not more than half, of the content is locked to a leaderboard.
I'm disappointed with how they did this event. Casual players get literally nothing, I didn't get a single item from this because I was only able to collect enough envelopes for the first tier which didn't even give anything lny related. If they're going to have representation that doesn't feel like a cash grab, they really need to do better than this.
So the 4hrs events... that was awful. I hated that. I did not want to be tied to my phone for 4hrs at a time to try to get enough drops to place in the t50, even though I did really like the dragon avatar. Even when motivated to go for drops and flash, I felt like I was making no progress.
Can we also please work on a fix/finding a way for android users to know where they're ranked outside of t500? Events like this we have no idea where we are if we're outside of t500. If I knew I was close to t2500 or whatever I'd most likely push for it, but not knowing how close/far I am I don't even bother.
The 4 hour part ended at changeover yesterday (was actually the end of the event). The leaderboard xc stays an additional 24 hours for players to collect rewards they earned.
Now i hear the paws a plentiful avi going for 1,000bs wtf ata you guys really dont care about your players unless they spend thousands of $'s
