I remember there being some story passes where it was the same avatar, but made better as you progressed along the way. So this isn't the first time this has been done and it was more fun when it was story pass mode and not all this ridiculous buy more and restart to buy more crap.
The concept is amazing , but the execution needs work. I do understand not being able to keep all of the avatars, because it is ONE avatar that is evolving. However, to not offer the avis as party drops, or even in game cash as $xxxT, to those who have the final form is very cash grabby. I do like that the avatar can be chosen as male/female. Let's do that for all avatar boxes! Also, noted that the ATA day deal was removed from Webstore but is still available in game. Wonder why that is? (Absolutely no, I did not buy it) (Free lite box in Webstore) Thanks for the giftable avatar boxes.
For example. Myth fulfillment story pass- same avatars, higher stats as you progressed. Oh and you could keep the avatars and not have to restart. Or keep purchasing more shards, you just played the game and had fun and earned rewards. This is total greed on ata and shame on whoever allows this bullshit.
