Well yes, their job is to make games and keep people entertained. And that involves paying them for doing that. So what exactly are you getting at? The fact that they're getting too greedy? I'm not disagreeing with anyone with that. I don't like it, but I'm also grounded and don't have unrealistic expectations. But also ... How are you still surprised when a company starts charging their customers more? It's everywhere. They do it because they can, and they know customers will still pay for it. People need to learn to close their wallets. I am not the dev, but I'm in the tech field so I know first hand how much work goes into something that seems trivial to other people.

You don't have to pay that $100+ subscription. You don't have to partake in any BBBs. You literally don't have to do any of those. People still keep doing it and it's what drives ATA to make more bold decisions. You can't partake in BBBs, flashes, and everything that costs money, and get mad at ATA when they ask for more money. Like a year ago I was telling a friend about this game and the look in her face when I explained to her what a BBB is ... Do you know how absurd they sound to someone that doesn't play pimd? Arguing in support of a company was not on my to-do list this year but some of you need a reality check. Won't be replying to this again.
You literally can get mad, you literally don't have to accept it, and you literally can say why... that's the whole entire point of feedback. Just because YOU say "well I'm not paying" doesn't mean others aren't doing the opposite, nor does it mean I have or should sit back and be quiet about it either....
Check out their last Story Pass debacle. So many pages and can you guess how many times ATA posted in the thread where they said they were interested in feedback? Not once. Unless you count the initial post. They’ll probably pay this thread the same courtesy. This thread will probably stay active up until the next big event that upsets everyone.

I sent a message to support questioning and got a reply earlier today. The dates here were wrong. The timer on the xc was correct. The original post was updated with the correct ending date. November 10 rather than November 5. Nothing was meant to be 79 days.
Long post again...Number nerd back again now that the end date has been clarified. This is like being given a recipe for a delicious cake and you can't get the ingredients to make it for a large chunk of the player base. As I've previously said, completing the free version of story pass was never an issue for the majority of my club. This format and the points needed, they don't stand a chance. The very limited way to earn points through non paying means (spinner and timer boxes) being capped is a hindrance for sure, not to mention there are way less ways to progress through this than there were with the different stages of story passes. Members who are loyal to their PotD/PPotD club will be forced to hop out for sessions, flashes or last bars which in the end could hurt the PotD/PPotD clubs who already struggle to get members in and keep them because of the path this game has taken. So now to the numbers to put this in a discouraging perspective..... For mostly getting points from parties alone (no DN use or box opening since not everyone can afford that for a supposedly free version of something and assuming players don't have a sub running for a drop boost) 250,000 points = 2,976 points needed per day = 28 PotD/PPotD per day 205,000 points = 2,440 points needed per day = 23 PotD/PPotD per day 165,000 points = 1,964 points needed per day = 19 PotD/PPotD per day 130,000 points = 1,548 points needed per day = 15 PotD/PPotD per day 100,000 points = 1,190 points needed per day = 11 PotD/PPotD per day 75,000 points = 893 points needed per day = 8 PotD/PPotD per day Now if we factor it in with people maxing the capped points for spinning and timer boxes, that takes off 4,500 points. So we'd be at: 245,500 points = 2,923 points per day = 28 PotD/PPotD per day 200,500 points = 2,387 points per day = 23 PotD/PPotD per day 160,500 points = 1,911 points per day = 18 PotD/PPotD per day 125,500 points = 1,494 points per day = 14 PotD/PPotD per day 95,500 points = 1,137 points per day = 11 PotD/PPotD per day 70,500 points = 839 points per day = 8 PotD/PPotD per day So all of that proves the free methods of earning points (parties, timer boxes and spinner) basically don't help anything and are realistically impossible for anyone who doesn't go to sessions, flash or hop for lbh to even come anywhere close to finishing what is supposedly a free option of something. Much less even more unrealistic for smaller stat players to get much of anything at all from this. Personally, if it was closer to realistically possible to finish this I wouldn't mind spending a little out of my pocket to get there, but seeing how far off this is with effort alone for what is supposedly free, I won't even want to bother. I'll just get what I get and move along, like I've been doing more and more with how cash grabby this game is now.
Hi! maybe this is a hot take and i'm one of the biggest ata haters on here.. BUT when i was strictly f2p, the part about the game i actually enjoyed was selling things, making chibis, making bentos, to then afford going to ec club sessions so i could actually upgrade (all still free options). ec clubs are not paywalled, they are absolutely still a free option for anyone who would rather pay someone bentos to drop for them instead of purchasing their own drops. it's just the rate at which you can attend ec clubs is lower as a f2p player. i understand it's hard for potd/ppotd only clubs to survive when ec clubs are essential in allowing players to grow but i don't think it's entirely fair for potd clubs to expect their f2p members to not take part in another avenue that is still potentially free for them. your post just seems like a limited view of what you have access to as a f2p player
Then what's the point of having a free option, when even if you're paying it's damn hard to complete, unless you take part in a paid club... And no, ec sessions are free just because you paid in bento, #1 you had to give somebody something who had to pay for it anyway...
