Disappointed a "battle pass" has no pvp. I really thought yall were coming with the innovation when I saw it was just IAP. Nope. I'm not actually mad at it being an IAP. I understand the company is slowly pushing its player base towards higher and higher spenders. Your art is beautiful, and the community building has been successful. I'm mad that you're charging luxury prices and providing Walmart level customer service. Wild to have released a double box promo (I don't think I've seen many of those before?), where people would be tempted to stack up ecs in preparation for the much anticipated next story pass. Especially anticipated after the last story pass fiasco. Speaking of- I like this format. I like that everyone was auto entered into the basic event, and that the vip tiers are not released on a weekly basis. I like the transparency of the actually value, especially in light of the pure cash being requested. I don't like that I see this as adding to the back market bento purchasing issue. And I still haven't forgotten that we, the luxury clientele you are striving for, were initially expected to sit back and be insulted by your team publically. To me, the story pass is worth the money. I've been paying enough attention to the direction the company is taking to not pre-invest into empty promises, so it doesn't sting as much as I imagine it does for others. I personally like the avatars, and I don't think we've had too many 'sexual' story passes, though I do understand other player's concerns about the direction of the art and the community it fosters. The hunt format, the community, and the game at base are still interesting enough for me to purchase a story pass that will support my goals in future hunts- but the direction the company is heading in is increasingly concerning.
I agree; I'm just spreading the word for those that saw the web store didn't have it and wouldn't have checked back.
I'm disappointed you have to pay and still don't get to choose only female or only male. I don't want to work twice as hard to get to the avi i want you could have done vip versions and actually made it worth it.
So... no update? No acknowledgment? Nothing? It's been nearly 5 hours now. What response will come, or are you just ignoring the issues that are out in the open? Also, looking at the timestamp of this being original announcement being crafted on August 8th and edited last Wednesday.... no one thought "hmm the community isn't happy, maybe we should update that to not just being irl money" or just to not try something new and controversial after so much backlash?
Why are people mad over this? It’s literally the same price in ECs. Just that you gotta use real money directly. Free to play players will always be upset but to those who spend, it shouldn’t actually make much of a difference 🥲🥲🥲

They're waiting for ppl to spend/buy and have a repeat of last time. When enough ppl have spent, then they'll come out with a half arsed apology and a "fix"

This was so well written. I was trying to decide how much effort to put into a reply, then saw that Victoria did it for me, and did it better than I would have. I too thought it would have a pvp portion with that name. And I too decided the rewards were worth $20 and wasn’t that bothered by it.
it’s making me crazy. I’m the type to want absolutely no red notifications hanging around for more than they have to. And to have the notifs on the pass we didn’t even purchase is insane. But it’s working - because someone admitted to buying the pass just to get rid of the notifs 🙄 why we let ATA run us like that is crazy.
