UPDATE Waves of Light Shard Box Update

Drop rate for the furni box is still shitty 200+ parties and counting and only 1 furni box. Idc if this is a 1 year event, i dont even know if im alive after 1 year.

 

Ty ATA for making these changes, I appreciate that you brought up an event like this where getting 110/110 avi is easy now I can also have atleast one high stat avi, although the avis are not very laudable but still whatever we have rn is better than having nothing. I hope this free dorm and 110% avi thing returns again with new better improved avis and dorms maybe not so soon but someday, yeahhh so looking forward to whatever you bring up in the future.... And I also wanna say please improve your male ava designs 🥺. Ty for listening.

 

thats great news if they do drop from potds & ppotds. eliminates the worry of having to consistently spend on sessions not knowing how many paid parties will give the furnis and instead people can just focus on regular lbhs

 

i have been hopping for lbhs and been to a flash, yet I haven't gotten a single box drop. These box rates are way worse than pro drops. Can we get some guaranteed box after x amount of parties at least?

 

I think people are exaggerating a lot, I got my first box after only like 10-15 parties which I find ok

I don't believe we are, unfortunately that's actually rather lucky on your end. It took me literally 40 ec parties to get one box.

 

This was still quite expensive and I spent far too much time deciding which avi I liked because they’re both pretty. Worst of all, there is no story. I thought this was a story pass, but no narrative? I have nothing to read. Where is my cheesy ocean-themed romance? The story part is my favorite part. 😭

 

You realize most f2p users don’t have 40 bentos, right? If you see bentos on low stat players, they’re definitely alts or farm accounts. This is still pricy and requires quite a commitment and we still haven’t seen how difficult this avi is to obtain. People are saying they’ve hit 40+ parties with no furni box drops.

 

Yeah right bro and what about those big stat farmers hitting small accounts for bentos and misc this event will atleast give those small stat players a powerful ava to hit back some of them

 

I must admit after posting this i got 2 Boxes from 1 cat party. Unless they've been adjusted i still think the drop rates are horrible but it's nice to see that is possible..

 

People complaining about keeping high stat Avis exclusive must feel proud of themselves. Why can’t you give the rest of the players an opportunity to get them as well at least ONCE? Not all of us are filthy rich. Let the people enjoy it this time around and y’all can continue your LB glory down the road.

 

You find 10-15 parties for 1 box that you initially had to pay for just to unlock the box drops ok?

Are you able to share what mechanism or formula is being used to generate these refunds? Because early signs are an outright insult to the community.

 

Someone mentioned they’re only sending refunds if you opened boxes/spent ec for your 7 avatars. Otherwise, they will not be refunding you.

 

I can’t edit but I just realized you probably meant the formula on taking back shards considering boxes only drop 800 total shards at a time.

I've said it before and I'm saying it YET AGAIN. Stop. Making. New. Events. So. Impossibly. Difficult. The. First. Time. It. Comes. I'm guessing y'all have YEARS of data on the player base and what we are capable of, but y'all choose to make these new events types impossibly difficult the first time to test how far we're willing to go to get pixels in a game, then you backpedal when we aren't spending the money you want. I'd spend more money if things were slightly challenging but still obtainable like this event is NOW AFTER THE CHANGES. Is it really that hard to just think about how to make it a little less difficult so that maybe a casual player thinks "Huh, I might spend some money to get this since I really like it and it won't cost me my entire paycheck"??? But no, time and again you show me that you only (don't) care about the whales who throw thousands at this game a week, who you are milking dry.

 

Good to see ATA and their team acknowledge our thoughts for once. This is progress and it’s appreciated. Keep it up and maybe this game can have a brighter future and a longer one at that
