the money you spend to lb enough to get enough gold crowns for rhw 110% avi is in the THOUSANDS. First place is 15 crowns. 2nd & 3rd 10 crowns. And 4-10 5 crowns. I’m aware that both cost money. But to take away a huge selling point for t10 lbers seems too bad. Like. What else are you really going for 😭
I need clarification... does the new requirements for just 3 avis to get the furniture also include the exclusive 110/110?? If so what's the point in getting all 7?
The apology was mediocre at best, only once you were called out did you decide that it was needed. sorry but I'll be passing on this event it's not worth the time or the money that it'll take for any of the rewards
I have to agree with standing and it pains me to say that. You made the choice to follow through with it, i dont think you should be refunded.
Can anyone confirm whether you need to spend ecs to unlock these furniture boxes that start dropping once a player meets the requirements? Its understandable that the furniture itself won't be tradable but the boxes will be... I just can't tell if these boxes are going to need keys or not?
Eh, I wouldn't see them taking away anything from the leaderboard players unless they just remove it as a whole.... that only means Them players will spend less to get avi's of the stats.... I in no way advocate for paying for anything
Although the apology and slight changes towards the Story Pass are slightly appreciated, ATA should also take ownership of the desperate measures they constantly use to make every opportunity for growth hindered behind a pay wall. To be honest, it is evident that the only reason these changes were made was because a response was made on their behalf that could have negatively affected their reputation, and they wanted to desperately deflect the situation entirely by choosing to address a small portion of feedback, which should have already been an action taken since the beginning. All I can say to the rest of the players is that if you feel that an irrelevant feature has been added that is overpriced, then it is not worth investing or wasting money into. I can already begin to speculate that there will be no further change in suggestions being acknowledged in the future, unless there is another unintentional response with a negative connotation that will encourage them to have no choice but to act as if they value their community.
I read over the post again I guess tradable furniture boxes will only start dropping once you have completed the story quest
making 110/110 avatars so accessible and thus making every past lb/shard avatar worthless (beyond looks) is insane to me, ESPECIALLY after so many spent so much to get the original requirement of avis just to then get rug pulled like this 💀
the apology is great, it is a little hard to feel like its genuine after what was also said in campus and only after people were visibly upset. to me what matters more is how things like this are treated in the future, and I truly hope everything players have said Devs will consider. this isn't something people just got upset about overnight, this has been brewing for quite some time now, many have expressed their displeasment for awhile now with nothing being done. also most players are this upset because they genuinely care about the game and want to see it do well and improve and everyone be happy! it makes me sad as a long time player how bad the game has gotten, and not feeling like the devs care about players at all. also keep in mind how bad the cost of living has gotten in real life when a lot of ppl cant even afford rent/food/meds. and I'm not trying to say everything should be free either but like opening a single shard box for me costs $30 ish cad, I could buy a whole new game or even 2 for that lol. anyway I am proud of how the community really came together in this and stood up for themselves, and I truly hope devs are sincere and read the replies and take into consideration everything thats said.💜

I believe the price of opening the shard boxes is ridiculous. They're players here that might not be able to afford the EC to open the boxes. Then you have the overpriced when using bentos. I understand we all want to collect bentos I get it, but I just feel like the price for opening the boxes are too much. 149ec is way out of hand. In my opinion I would at least go down to like maybe half that amount.
I was wondering that myself since 7 hours HAS passed by than and a few probably went ahead and got all the avis, I hope they do compensation cause if I was them and seeing this update I be more than upset.
It's still difficult to believe the apology is genuine considering the whole "the team get a lot of mean comments so I figured a lil poking back wouldn't hurt. I was wrong 😔" and a "my bad" apology It just feels like a delayed attempt at damage control after being called out for poor behavior But that's just my opinion 🚶♀️➡️
Can't even sell the dorm to at least offset the expenses from buying the avatar. At best you can sell furni boxes🤷♀️ Unless you reaaaaaaallly like the avatars and the dorm, I see no reason to join this event.
This entire thing is deplorable. Firstly your initial comment to someone who is rightfully outraged by the structure of this was disgusting. Then you went to world chat to try and downplay it to the community. Then you edited your fourm post to further downplay everything without a real apology. Then you went to iZelda's PMs to privately apologize for a public comment you made that SHE had to be the one to make public and share with the community. And now it has taken several hours for a public apology. I do not accept your apology. It doesnt make anything right. Changing the paywall behind the new furniture content to only include spending for 3 avis someone may not want instead of 7 doesn't make this better. You have Molly's shop for your paid for content. You have the VIP sub boxes and tokens for paid for content. You have story passes for paid for content. Shard avis are meant to be an additional avatar for pay that is meant to be OPTIONAL for your spenders should they so want them. Making them a requirement for new content is sickening. Ill keep saying it, you ATA are the biggest supporter of the black market bento sellers with the way you structure your content. Backpeddling after revieving righteous backlash doesnt actually fixes anything. Do better.
