In my years on PIMD, I was always under the impression that calling open farm was supposed to be embarrassing. Personally, I'd only join in on farming someone if it was someone I felt loyal to and that I knew would do the same for me, and there are very few people I feel like I'd do that for on here (and none of them I feel like would actually require help because they're adept enough). I do know some people still farm for hire, but I don't know of anyone that listens to a call for an open farm and everyone I see asking for it has been appropriately ragged on.
Appreciate the honesty, actually. Because what you just said proves my point more than anything else could. You’ve got folks here loudly defending PvP as some neutral, emotionless mechanic—“no reason needed,” “don’t take it personal,” “just hit back or shut up.” But when someone does give a reason and call someone out? Suddenly it’s about loyalty, mutual aid, and “I only hit for people I like.” So which is it? Is PvP truly just part of the game and fair game for anyone, no questions asked? Or is it a clique-based popularity contest, where people only act if it benefits their image, their circle, or gives them easy points? Because if SmurfBerryCrunch had hit one of your people, I doubt we’d be having this talk. But since it was just someone standing up over tutor bullying—suddenly PvP is optional, loyalty-based, and not worth your time. That doesn’t make you a strategist. It makes you a spectator who only throws punches when it’s safe or socially approved. And if calling someone open farm is supposed to be embarrassing? Then yeah—it’s not the one calling them out that should feel embarrassed. It’s the ones who claimed to care about PvP, but can’t back that up when it’s inconvenient.
You truly believe that the PIMD community should hit this person, no questions asked? Because you said so? Or we aren’t true pvp players …… as Muschi eloquently stated, that’s embarrassing. For you.
Ok new question then. You are the one with issues with this person. Why should we care? Why should we help? Does it not now become unfair to the person you are farming (by your standards) to have people constantly hounding them making them unable to do literally anything due to constant no energy? Is that not abusing pvp like you are saying is wrong?
Oh, I agree—it is embarrassing. Just not for the reason you think. It’s embarrassing that someone who claims to be a PvP player needs conditions, approval, and popularity votes before lifting a single finger. You’re talking about “true PvP players” while refusing to act unless the farm fits your taste. I didn’t say “no questions asked.” I gave a reason: repeated tutor harassment and provocation. You just chose to ignore it because it didn’t come wrapped in drama or social clout. The real embarrassment? People who parade PvP as their identity—until it requires standing alone, not with a clique. People who say they “farm bigger players”—but won’t touch one low-statted instigator unless it’s trendy. If this was about principles, you’d have acted or stayed silent. But if you have time to be condescending on the sidelines? Then don’t pretend you stand for anything but comfort.
Everyone keeps yelling “PvP is part of the game,” but the moment SmurfBerryCrunch gets called open farm, suddenly y’all need “tea” and “proof” and “reasons.” You can’t say no reason is needed to PvP, then make excuses when someone finally gives you one. If you're really about PvP, then why hasn’t anyone farmed her? She’s poked at people, provoked with tutor hits, and multiple people on her wall have complained — but you all suddenly go soft. And calling out harassment doesn’t make someone weak. What’s weak is hiding behind PvP to defend bullying and then pretending it's "just gameplay." Stop preaching PvP while picking favorites. You’re not warriors — you’re selective.
Of course you don’t see it as a problem — you clearly can’t recognize one unless it happens to you. It’s not that you won’t get it, it’s that you literally can’t. That’s the difference between people who play the game and people who actually understand it. So no, I don’t expect you to care — you’re not capable of thinking past your own screen.
I'm going to try a different angle here. If you believe us to be as pvp-hardcore as you think we are, what would stop us from strip farming both you and her? By your arguments, we're not allowed to step back, take a look, make a decision, reason, and/or justify hitting or farming. To you, we're just barbarians who shouldn't question a call for hits, and just hit on command because you say so or ask for. We dont know you. We don't owe you anything. What's in it for us? Honor? Justice? On pimd, let alone a phone game? The old me? Absolutely. I would've hit, no questions asked. Only a handful of people know I would've. But now, current me? I've already done all that. Stripped, farmed, been stripped, been farmed. Been there, done that. But that was a long, long time ago. Like I said, I'm retired. At the end of the day, this is just an app on the phone and we owe nothing to you.
Funny how you went from “PvP is just part of the game” to “we’re not your army” the second you were asked to act on it. You say you’re PvP veterans, but when given a clear target and a reason — suddenly you’ve “retired,” need to “weigh decisions,” or say “what’s in it for me?” You can’t have it both ways. You either believe PvP doesn’t need justification — or you don’t. If you do, then you shouldn’t need a reason to farm SmurfBerryCrunch. If you don’t, then maybe stop defending harassment behind the excuse of game mechanics. Because right now, all you’ve proven is: You’re only PvP when it’s safe, easy, or personally beneficial.
Your idea that both "PvP is part of the game" and "we're not your army" are mutually exclusive is just simply incorrect. PvP is strategical. You can believe PvP is part of the game and make the strategic decision that you don't want to farm a particular person, for whatever reason you want. Even party fairies should be coming up with a strategy to reach specific goals they have for the game, such as reaching a specific hunt drops tier. You can't just mindlessly hit any party for example. Just like I'm not going to mindlessly hit any target.
Couldnt even anser 1 question. Pathetic. Farm them yourself this is your war not pimds war. You stupid as fuck expecting people to be yes men to a stranger (you)
Aww, poor you. Big mad that someone actually called you out on not walking the talk? Why should I waste time answering a question that’s already been answered repeatedly — just because you weren’t paying attention? You cry about “yes men” but the moment PvP isn’t convenient for you, suddenly it’s “not your war.” I didn’t ask for your loyalty. I just expected you to be consistent with the PvP nonsense you preach. If PvP doesn't need a reason, why are you giving excuses? Sounds like you’re just mad someone finally pointed out that you’re all bark, no bite.
So let me get this straight: You agree PvP is part of the game. You’ve openly said you prefer hitting random players — even weaker ones — for no reason at all. You champion PvP as a core feature, yet the moment someone presents you with an actual reason and a target, suddenly it’s too complex, too political, “not your war,” or “not strategic enough”? What you're really saying is you only enjoy PvP when the other person can’t fight back or when there's no accountability. But when you’re asked to step in against someone that might challenge your comfort zone — now it's all about strategy? No wonder the game is dying. Nobody wants to play along with this selective, self-serving version of PvP where you talk big about mechanics, but ghost when it's time to back it up. You say PvP is dying because people “don’t want to learn,” but the truth is — people don’t want to be used as targets just to inflate someone else’s ego. Especially when those same “hardcore PvPers” are all bark and no bite when the fight isn’t on their terms. You’re not doing PvP justice. You’re doing it a disservice.
If it were in 2012, i think you will get a lot of help from farmers who farm for fun... no reason needed. But nowadays its the peaceful era... IT'S THE TIME TO DECORATE OUR DORM AND COLLECT ITEMS AND AVATARS!!! none care about fight anymore... so move on...
I am 100% positive I haven’t said that I randomly hit small people for fun. I don’t take stat items for cf, only apologies. And I only do that for reason. So your self righteous, rambling, wordy arguments are irrelevant. But I agree with Vice, I’m starting to feel like farming you could be fun and justified.
Oh? So now that your logic didn’t hold up, you’re pivoting to "farming me might be fun and justified"—how convenient. You say you only hit for a reason, yet here you are admitting you’re thinking about hitting for fun just because I out-argued you. That kind of contradiction is exactly why nobody takes your “PvP morals” seriously. You want to come off as disciplined, but all you’ve shown is that your definition of "justified" really just means "because I feel like it." That’s not PvP—that’s ego-driven nonsense wrapped in hypocrisy. And don’t worry, if you actually did farm me, you’d be proving every single point I made. So go ahead. I’ll even thank you for the free example.
