Hope it gets extended..especially for those that waited to get it. When the story pass got re-released.

Very disappointed with the Story Pass experiment. Iām sure being in an ec club 24/7 would have made it so much easier, the fact of the matter is that there is a huge amount of players who are not doing that. This will be the first time I have not finished a Story Pass in my almost 5yrs playing. The amount of resources it took to acquire ONE avi and a couple pieces of misc were so far off from being worth it at all. Iām at least a couple weeks behind because potd drops are trash compared to ec parties, and even burning endless spins, pet speeds, dns and speed up boxes etc etc etc. Just. No. Please donāt do this again. We tried it, and, judging by the responses here, I feel like itās a common sentiment. This game has really been a drag lately with as many recycled hunts, avis, etc. Like I get the motivation but there arenāt enough ānewā players to justify the constant re-releasing of old stuff. Youāre devaluing the uniqueness of limited edition and limited time content. Why is no addressing the fact that there are TONS of bot clubs and trash bot accts that do nothing but ruin the trading market and the event leaderboards for literally every event? Chat isnāt being moderated at all anymore, both Pub and Campus are rife with the absolute dregs of the internet and full of vile stuff. Or, the alternative: spammers and scammers. Itās all so tiresome.
Right? They need to fix so many other problems, instead of experiment with things that were fine to begin with.
With less than 20 days left in this sp, i have to say this is the WORST FORMAT for a SP. I literally FORGOT i was still doing it. Never EVER do in this format again pls cuz you will literally lose so much money from your loyal spenders. Like we all have short attention spans so pls never again šš¼
Wish there wasnāt a cap on Royal Rings, especially when each week you have to collect more. What also sucks is that the next task didnāt start right away, like the old ones did, once you completed it āearlyā so it feels like you donāt get the full amount of time to work towards it; you feel more behind because you didnāt get that extra catch up time in the beginning. The old format was a lot better because you got to complete each task right after you finished one so it made easier to finish for the longer task towards the end because you had the extra time.
Coz they don't give a damn. We'll all be here yapping about this trash SP, and still they don't give a damn. Coz at the end of the day, they still get the profit from selling this trash SP we all yapping here about. The trash SP that costs us 199 freaking ecs, equivalent to $20 something. Funny isn't it? But still, won't stop us from yapping about this trash SP again. Coz this is new shit. Another new format and stuffs. Might as well say, the way this SP works is rigged AF. Kinda forcing us to spend the resources we get from the SP itself (cats, dogs, spinner tokens, pimkey), it felt like a damn cycle, if you ask me.
Itās so unbalanced that itās insane. Leveling up your pet gives 2 points?! Those take weeks to level up and so many speedups. I have never had this much struggle to finish a storypass as I am having now. Everything is pretty much going to waste and canāt be enjoyed. I donāt care what the next storypass is, Iām not getting it. Not worth it atp.
Again, y'all apes never learn and never give a damn. š P.S if you wanna torture us like this, at least make a bulk opening speedup timer boxes feature.
I think Iāve said this before, but this SP feels like itās heavily catered towards leaderboard players. Itās not for the majority of players. Thatās why itās so unbalanced. If you were to calculate ec value of timer speed ups for boxes and pets it would well into the thousands. At this point I would not even be surprised if we spend more than we get back. Iām not gonna lie, this COULDāVE been a great SP as a VIP version, if they: 1. Had the old SP format as an option to buy and at a discounted price 2. Offered VIP avis 3. Take away the weekly wait thingy
That would require them to admit they were wrong, and with the money theyāre probably raking in from this SP I doubt they care š¤·š»āāļø
I have never been more happy than I am now not having gotten the paid portion of this horrendous cash grab disguised as a story pass. I'm glad that I just causally go through the free part before deciding if I want the paid part too. I know I've already expressed my displeasure with this layout from only the free version. Reading the other comments here and speaking with others who are struggling through the paid portion, I feel secondhand burnout for them. And then to top it off, complete silence from the dev team.....say you just want money without saying you just want money. Any acknowledgment at all would be better than nothing.
Anyone know what the point requirement (especially for the non-drop portion) is for this week? I had enough and stopped trying after last week so I didnāt finish, but Iām curious about what level of absurdity theyāve reached this week.
Itās 331 non-drop requirements, if Iām correct last week was 387. So itās not terrible but itās also not good. The total drops required is 28,800, which is still an inane amount that requires ppl to be in an ec club or flashes. Maybe they took out complaints to heart (which I doubt) and actually lowered the non-drop requirements. Which only goes to show they purposely put this weekly wait system in place to adjust the non-drop requirements according to how much they can get away with before having to acknowledge the majority of complaints and/or change the difficulty level for leaderboard players.
sorry if i'm late to realizing this but we definitely wont have the option to get ALL the rewards either right? we just wont have the option to get enough tokens for both male and female avis unlike previous story passes?
Youāre probably right. Unless they give another 75 gold tokens and lower the non-drop requirement again, I doubt a majority of ppl will be able to finish this sp without having to jump through hoops just to complete the last week. You might have to pick and choose which one youāll want. Personally Iām focusing on the female avis and stat items. And if factor in the time frame they give, which is only an additional 5 days, I doubt weāll some players will even be able to finish. Unless they switch back this is the last sp I buy, idk how cute the avis are or how high the stats are.
HEAR HEAR I'm also so happy I casually played the free version and made the decision this format was not worth the money. Hiding these rewards behind a time line was calculated. Hopefully we never get a SP in this formst again. I can't see my mind changing about wanting to buy future ones.
I'm in an dog club full time and I still have maybe 2 weeks of SP task to complete with just about 8-9 days left to complete the whole thing. Don't think it's possible without at least some subscription (for opening two timer and pet boxes at once) and several flashes, using at least 20 DNs per week (esp towards mid-end of the SP tasks) and using PIM Keys, all together at the same time. First time I'm unable to finish an SP before the end date as well and it's frustrating. If your players are already playing in the "premium" area, that is using dogs in your game, and still have to grind with more resources than available, then there's a lot that needs to be tuned if ATA ever wants to run another storypass with this format again. Only whalers can actually complete the SP at this rate. Please reduce the ring limit for each week, or increase the contribution points for other non-EC items like pet feeding, opening boxes, etc. I was expecting to be able to claim everything in the SP shop like I had in the past with previous SPs but clearly that's not going to happen.
