The players are deciding those prices. Its what people are paying. Black market exists so many just buy their bentos to get them easy

 

Ata has no involvement in pricing. Its all decided by the players. People pick a price. If other players pay that price, thats what more people will sell at until the price people are willing to pay drops

 

Theres also a history of sales from previous releases that people use as a guide on pricing

 

Can confirm, the absurd "standard" pricing for shards is the way it is because people have repeatedly advertise that's the price they're buying for.

The pricing didn't actually used to be this bad but then ATA starting pumping out the shard avis with the invite parties and less people can afford to purchase ec in this frequent of intervals. Not to mention increasing the 3 tiers of shard avis to 4 tiers.

It's all supply and demand and tbh they're not the novelty they once were. Other peeps are out here spending their ec on Molly's deals and invite parties instead.

 

Dog rates are 2:6-7b for flashes.

The highest tier for shards used to be 50:1b at the most expensive.

We are frustrated, don’t get me wrong. But just like so many things in our real lives - nothing will change until the big spenders stop spending and demand a change. Unfortunately, that won’t be happening any time soon in fear of missing out on something good.

That leaves spenders still spenders and buyers still buying at these crazy prices because they’re desperate. I don’t agree with the absurd prices for shards but I can’t change it.

It’s also Easter and holiday shards tend to be more costly regardless. It sucks. Best thing to do is open boxes on an alt. Keep in mind it took my 9? boxes on my main to get 800 pink.
