I didn't notice until someone else pointed it out, but all the stats for the lower tier items have changed as well. 💀 what's up with this? Doing stat math is hard enough as it is, adding in more stats of varying values isn't helping anything. It feels like you're trying to give less to the free to play players to make up for having avi boxes rewarded at lower tiers compared to the dog days of summer hunt. ATA why are you so adamant on removing the side stories? If it's a matter of writing, change it from being "side stories" to "side quests" with less dialog. This honestly feels like a heavy push for something no one asked for. There are entire threads in the fourms of people giving hunt ideas and game features and improvements they'd like to see. You're doing something right with the end of hunt surveys. You're doing something right with notifying us of changes before they happen, and with taking our feedback and applying it in some manner for another test round. But there's more wrong than right with this removal of side stories. -------------- As for the party tracker drops, I feel like the ball was dropped on these. Side story drops that came from parties followed main story drops in awarding different amounts based on the party completed. PRO parties award more drops than reg. Potd parties. All EC Parties award a certian amount of main/side story drops depending on party difficulty as well. Your tracker drops award 7 per party, regardless of party, and even drop on non p/potd parties. This is not an improvement in anyway. It results in me having to do another kind of PIMD math and take seperate consideration for the amount of pro parties we do to try and get all of our clubbies that pro stat item. All in all even with the changes you have made based on our feedback, this system does not feel better. Bring back the side stories and don't fix what ain't broke. If you want to make changes that positively impact your player base start with the stuff we've already been asking for.

Sorry for the long post in advance. 35k with 1.9k third side story •4,000 piggies •8 speedup bags •4 DN •2 CP •11 Furni boxes •4 Avi boxes •12.5mcs total 35k now •4,000 piggies •7 speedup bags •3 DN •0 CP •6 Furni boxes •5 Avi boxes •7.75mcs total •1 Kini 53k now •5,600 piggies •8 speedup bags •3 DN •1 CP •7 Furni boxes •6 Avi boxes •10.75mcs total •1 Kini While I am glad to see an effort was made to address the no side drops by including a party tracking drop, I don't see how these changes overall to this format of hunt are for the better. We are still getting less misc total per hunt with the same amount of effort. Less of everything really. Less DN. Less CP. Less furni boxes. Significantly less misc. The lesser things we are getting, in my opinion, don't get equaled out by the chance at more avis and adding a kini. I don't know why we are getting less for the same amount of effort we put in. Feels like a slap in the face to the free to play, or even the casual spending player base. I don't know what the end goal is with making these changes, but both tries at this style do not seem to be better than what we had and taking things away that we could earn is just well....crappy 🤷♀️ These changes seem to be more of a detriment than a benefit to a large portion of this game's player base.
So looking and comparing from last time this hunt style was done....We've taken major steps backwards instead of forwards on rewards.....The extra piggies, avi boxes and a kini in no way make up for the lesser amounts of other things we are getting combined.
Finally, my time to write my opinion on this and I think that it is what you want. For the people not only to like or to comments, but also write their own opinions for you , ATA, to be able to count how many are giving feedback. While, I applaud, like others players messages , in this thread , about giving a heads up and for trying to communicate on potential test. & on getting feedback from the players and reading our comments. I would like to mention that it would have been wiser to actually notify on your PIMD Discord Server in the channel Event & / or announcement sections. So people can be able to say thank for publishing this earlier. Even if it is written published on Friday . I was unable to see until today on the forums. Like other players who have written above me, I disagree and disapprove the removal of the mechanism side story for the solely sake of this new test. I don’t understand why removing this mechanism while trying new stuff couldn’t have run in parallel. Same issue with the lite box (new testing you done a few hunts ago). In other words, it would have been possible for you to test that main story mechanism (additional tiers) while keeping the side stories quest. No? For me; removing side story is not the “ most engaging content that we can {do} for you […]” For the party activity items , thanks lord ! did I was able to view this thread in time for POTD / PPOTD testing. People are mostly confused because there’s no name to this item when you gave your sneak peak which is a different color from hunt drop to progress in the hunt. Let’s see if POTD and regular club that need to check for activity will find this helpful. Please do give a better head up for Black Friday on November 2023, 😥it is not considered spoiling some of us. It’s engaging us to create a content that we are interested to participate and to cultivate in the community. Side note; next time for your potential “heads up” or “test of new mechanism” if you could write the difference; it does between Android and IOS. People seemed to forget that the layout and some features are not identical/ found on the different type of device. And another side note, I have seen the last 4-5 hunts are ideas from 2021. So sorry if it wasn’t something some players like. I do remember some were from the survey / others from a specific list in the hunt suggestion. Furthermore, currently 2023, the ideas submit on the hunt suggestion thread do not garner much enthusiasm/ interested. But definitely people should keep suggesting and interact with the messages published. I do, sincerely, hope it will not deter ATA and stop ATA from writing to us and addressing formally in a thread issue; ideas; restrictions or situations. This thread is a step forward on addressing stuff and initiate from ATA the information. Not everyone see the benefit of help ticket to give feedback and are hoping for you ti initiate the dialogue and not the other way around. I have seen changes on PIMD from the past 5 years and I more than willing to exchange over it.
I feel that ATA is trying to breakdown the release of new stuff cuz it would have lagged / time out us from the game. I’m just glad to see a shop on the first few hours of a new hunt not lagged / issues. I hope it gets released soon, but neither too soon cuz I’m sure some will be disappointed.
Not a fan of this new main story rewards tier, tha random Avi in the Avi story box also sucks... Imagine only getting g all the avis you dont want because of it. Sucks. 😒😂
I don't understand why club admins can't simply track activity through main story drops. Is it because some can be obtained through boxes?
Yes that's exactly it. Just from lite boxes alone, especially with the spinner tokens for lite box Molly's deal, it's very easy to make an account appear more active than it is.
I love this new way of getting stories done! Way easier to keep track of and I can actually read the stories when I wanna. This is a big step forward imo. Also feels like I'm not wasting anything when I'm in a premium club.
It’s worse than that, the party tracker drops different amounts depending on the players MCs. Lower level players (under 10mcs) get between 2-4 drops, people. between 10/25mcs get about 4-6, and those above 25mcs are getting 7, from my experience in my club. My numbers may be off but the math we had to do in order to track activity was ridiculous for this so called improvement
I believe it's based on max plunder. I know my small alt account who needs more than a full unload for max drops from a party is getting less than 7. That's not an ata error but just a struggle of being a smaller account.
I was gonna dump so much money on this hunt cuz I love the theme, but when I saw the side stories left again, my wallet slammed shut so fast. Thanks for making the rewards a little easier to get, but please stop breaking the stuff that was already good. The activity tracker is pointless, esp if it’s not a stat item. Just bring side drops back. There are too many tests going on in one hunt, and I don’t like keeping up with it, and having to navigate a new rigged game every time. I love this game, please just put everything back to normal. We’d rather have continued efforts to make the game good for free to play players, and other gameplay aspects apart from how the hunts work.
Merging side story with main makes it seem like we have less to do in this game. Aside from us getting less and less stuff like someone already pointed out by breaking numbers. Having trouble coming up with stories? Make them quests. But figure out a way to have same rewards as the old system we all know and are okay with. Players have only asked for a bit more to do in the game. It's cyclic. Gets boring. We ask for bulk openers of timer boxes. We ask for more GPS in clubs. We ask for more activities. Players give themes ideas since forever. Players give game design and system ideas since forever. Never seen you guys test out players recommendations. Like what's this? Who came up with this? Surely y'all don't play your own game. Are you really OK with losing f2p players and have some spenders quit? I'd like to think of myself as a medium Mcs player, active in general and completely f2p. Usually I can get all 8 avis, Doggy hunt I managed to get only 6 with a lot of effort. My little alt? Got 3 avis. With the same activity hitting parties! If we're gonna do this, party drop rates need to be tweaked. What's up with the stats numbers? This is a nightmare to count and jams regular stat sellers/buyers deals that don't have time to adapt to this. While I do love fall and fairies and this really love the magic theme, everything has a dejavu feeling. I've only played for 2 years and can already see patterns in hunt themes. I've bought less furni cuz stuff always seems like previous stuff I already own. Probably there are more people like this. Hunt info was ridiculously late in posting. Molly's is missing. All the people above me have already written everything loud and clear. Overall, players are unhappy!! Get it together guys.
In addition, Everyone wants to be able to choose their avis. If this turns out to be permanent game play setup, make it that we can choose M/F without relying on the shitty luck. Don't know how to do it? Why not with gender activators like the shard avis? Or like in the old story pass ways of choosing at the beginning of the story? Or with coins like the new story pass system in the event shop. Just some ideas 🤷🏻♀️ and no, I don't think people would spend less than they do if they got to pick their avis.
But then it's up to admins to work together and notice a pattern or maybe they could just give one of these drops per party to show how many parties a member hit? Let's be honest and say for most potd clubs any hits are better than none.
As a ec player, but too bento broke to do flashes...still not happy with the avi box on the 125,000 tier. Just bring back side stories, please. It is already unfair that players don't get to choose what gender avi will come from the box. Adding the avi box to a difficult tier makes it even worse.
I would like to remind that on IOS for the party history we don’t see the amount associated to each drop while on Android the users do see the amount associate (not sure if it applies to every type of android devices) but I do have friends who could see it. The challenge admins encounter (I was former admin / president so base on my experience) Many players hit for lite box and go back offline ,that’s often an issue I had; or were just online for the hour following changeover. Again, I think it’s also depend on club practices and how each frame their club . That’s why there’s different type of clubs with different practices. And true, teamwork does help.
