Last year I made a thread about building a survival stockpile. You can find it here if you're interested: https://forum.partyinmydorm.com/threads/how-to-survive-the-apocalypse.143111/ Anyway, now is the time of year that I get to work rebuilding my stockpile for the winter again. And I am feeling immense pressure to build a magnificent stockpile this year, like 3x as big as usual. My instincts are on overdrive and I was wondering...am I feeling this pressure just because it's time to start harvesting my garden and canning for the year or do other people feel this too? Also, how are your stockpiles looking? Mine is majestic this year.
Almost, that was last November. This year I'm way ahead of schedule. I've felt internal pressure to get my pantry done NOW, but idk why. I haven't even started canning yet for the year. I took inventory the other day and was very impressed with myself. I threw out 1 can of beans that had gotten dented. That is all that I wasted in a whole years stockpile.
Ooooo. Could maybe be coz everyone in panic mode and keeps taking everything from the shops leaving nothing for those that can only afford to live week to week
