I'm a noob & I can tell that I will probably delete this game. Wish you could report stingy/selfish players. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Some of these player have been on for years & have multiple pieces but wont negotiate for anything less than Bentos. Then they want to buy stat items that are MORE than the furniture they have for Chibis. I.E. a player wouldn't agree to exchange my Heart Koala worth 500k for her Ancient Cryptid bookshelf worth 325k. Had to take 2c for it because I'm desperate to make a freaking B which takes FOREVER. You should remove cash from the spinner. I asked a couple players if they could consider donating leftover helmets before the deadline ends IF THEY DONT SELL IT. Not now, not next week, but literally a couple days before the Avi runs out. But they reply with smug comments like don't talk to them unless I'm buying. So yea these player make a terrible community & some are just pervs. They take advantage of newer players.
Honestly, what she was offering you an amazing deal. The stats in items are not considered equal to the stats in furniture. Usually that bookcase goes for 25 chibis to 1🍱, and the stat items they choose goes for 6 chibis (40 chibis make a bento). She was offering you a huge discount, probably since you're a new player. It seems that you are just not knowledgable to how the market functions in this game, which is super understandable since you are new. However it is disappointing you respond to this with anger and name-calling rather than actually learning. There are plenty of older players that genuinely do try to scam or otherwise take advantage of new players but that was absolutely not the case in the situation you're describing. Here is a thread made by a former game moderator that helps explain some of the pricing for furniture. You may find it useful.
I mean while the stats are higher, furniture is actually rare compared to most miscellaneous stat item like your koala. So yeah it doesn’t make sense to exchange that piece that’s from the 1st side story from a very recent hunt for a bookshelf. You definitely could have sold it as a 500kcs item for more than 2c though, so I will say it’s true that some players take advantage of those who are new and know less about how the prices work. Don’t be too desperate to sell things for chibis. Save up enough spins and you’ll get more chibis than you know eventually. That may work out better as you can buy a bento for less than 40 chibis. It just may take a bit of time. However keep playing if you want to familiarize yourself with how things work in the market. Nothing is set in stone really, but since you’re already in forums you can try looking up how much furni tends to cost and see around for other showcase items too 😊
As Muschi said, that is actually not at all how prices work for this game. It's amazing that you have already gotten yourself into forums, so you're a lot better off than other noobs. I would highly suggest checking out the thread Muschi beat me at linking as well as just generally looking up price guides and taking some time to read through threads to understand how the game works. But I do totally understand your frustration; some vets don't want to talk to anyone beneath their status, even I get that sometimes after a year and a half playing. Feel free to reply here or wall me if you need any help!
Yeah, it's sad that OP actually got scammed on her 500kcs item because she thought what was a great deal was a scam.
Yes like everyone here said, it takes time to learn game strategies including the market. Just have a bit more patience, and don't hesitate to ask for help. I know most of the knowledgable players often seem like they don't care about helping beginners, but there are others willing to. Dropping some links of helpful threads for you: Ask PIMD related questions here! Other helpful links And check out the the link Muschi sent about the furniture price guide. If you're still unsure about a certain furniture's price, you could reply to that thread and ask ❤️
Just going by your ign, the community on the app isn't the best and even if you eventually learn to understand the market system, another app w a friendlier community may be better anyway
Tbh you begging for free furni is gonna get people coming at you. Also no i like getting cash from spinner. Its free cash. If you don't like getting it use up what you get on gifting people cash gifts. You said yourself you gonna just leave anyway so why does this thread need to exist. Stop moaning and leave if thats what you doing. Or shut the fúck up and stop expecting everything instantly especially for cheap
Going by gifts this noob looks like a alt anyway. She also said she got 2c and trying to save up for a bento but has no chibis in showcase. /Lock this bulshit
\9🤝 Trade items you're familiar with. PIMD has a free market so you can get ripped off if not careful.
There are literally new players starting all of the time. And many don’t want advice or information, they want gifts and free stuff. A full dorm of their choosing just because they are new. And if we won’t send it, they call us selfish and rude. My advice is to play the game. Find a good club that teaches you things and completes parties. Hire tutors. Ask about max plunder. And don’t expect to have all of the things that I have collected in 10 years the first week that you play. rant over.
👆👆👆👆👆👆An example of a player who is rude. Even went out the way to look me up just to kick me down. If you haven't noticed I am helping run a club for NOOBS. A SENIOR player with various alts recruited me. So yea I have found a handful of awesome players. He gifted me for being on constantly starting the parties & helping players.😋 And I'm a strategy/math player. So I know stats that work while in showcase should be more than FURNITURE that only counts when equipped so I'll worry about a cute room when I have saved up.
Thank you. I will be patient & have found another senior player who helped me. I'm not focused on room decor finds although I do hope I can find items when I am ready to bargain. Just stats for now. I will say it is hard to get started but I'm getting settled now. SIDENOTE**would be nice to look up items for sale by a search. Might have to suggest ATA make an ADs area.
Not to maybe be rude, but I don't think you are in the proper position to be doing so when you're still a noob yourself. I understand it is hard to find good clubs that help new players, but part of the reason that is, is because of new players running clubs for other new players and none of them ever really end up learning the game because they aren't in a club with more experienced players to help them. I'm afraid that, like many clubs run by noobs for noobs, any information being taught is too often incorrect, misinformed, or otherwise ultimately unhelpful. This isn't a personal attack on you as I'm sure you're doing all in your power to assist new players, but this thread and you falling for an actual scam because you thought a good deal was a scam is telling in how knowledgable you are about the game.
Thanks for the link. Sometimes I can't tell which forum is active. I had researched contests & a couple were over but ppl still posting. IDK if they ever close or delete old ones.
Mods try to lock or delete older threads that get unnecessarily bumped, and time-limited ones like contests should be locked when the contest is over, but a lot falls through the cracks. There aren't many mods that even honestly care to moderate forums as is, but we got a recent batch in November that are more forums savvy.
I've played many strategy games. Doesn't take me long to catch on but you are right. As far as drop parties & potd It can get frustrated. But again it's for other noobs so it's more about guiding than parties & most can't do the difficult games anyway. They can move on to better clubs if they choose. Plus once I start working I'll be able to make purchases. The winter storm kinda delayed my interview process so this has been my job. I'm literally on for the whole day.
Well I definitely am following that furniture thread. I have sets in mind I do want when I begin looking. BTW do you have any idea when the stuff you buy from the room page changes over? There's a couple shelves I'm earning EC for to buy.
I wouldn't buy any of them with ecs. You'll get far more mileage from your ecs by buying dogs with fhem and selling the dogs for things to trade for furni
