It is optional, if you do not want to break rs, you don't have to. A perfect match just gives bonus drops for your score, meaning you get Stacks of Cliche Rom-coms faster.

Every vday hunt for the last few years has had this feature. If you Have an active rs you’ll still get to participate in that portion of the quest. It doesn’t matter if they are your perfect match it’s literally just a bonus.

Well, no buts still a pretty awkward mechanic for a holiday supposedly about love and sticking with one person. Obviously, it’s just a game, but that was a really insensitive choice to make for the holiday.

It's totally not that way. Even with 💘💘 both sides, I didn't get them. And just a few minutes ago I had 💘 on one side & I got stacks. You'll never figure out what actually the criteria is.
