Ig i need to buy a flip phone now since Android updated and made it so there are read receipts and people can see when I'm typing. Why does modern technology want us to get in arguments with friends when really we were just busy and didn't have time to respond yet. Even if we are ignoring someone das my business, no one needs to know that I saw it. #banandroidsnewupdatewtfthisisn'tapple
yup itβs unacceptable to be annoyed by minor inconveniences. you either have to be happy all the time or on the verge of death to be miserable. #ToxicPositivity
My smartphone still be around for apps, im not throwing it out. Just dun wanna text off my smart phone
I didn't even know this was a thing. I use mainly messaging apps that have that feature anyways but would be useful to be able to turn that on and off based on your preference.
on apple you can turn those things off i would think you'd be able to do the same on android if not then.... rip
They have the option to turn it off but it doesn't work. Like I can turn it off and it'll work for a moment but as soon as I exit the text app and go to another screen, it auto turns back on without my permission. Idk if it's a glitch and they'll fix it w the next update or what but it's annoying
I guess most ppl do. I have a few frens who don't use social media at all though and they're the ones I usually text w the sms app
Screw flip phones too, let's go back to pagers. I always wanted one of those but never could justify the cost because I had no need for one. I bet they're cheap now.
I like flip phones. I'd feel so cool if I had one w a lil antenna that I could pull out every time I got a call. I don't rly understand how pagers work honestly. Is it like texting
Ummm sorta...someone calls your pager number and they can leave their phone number or a code. And then your pager vibrates and displays the phone number or whatever code they entered so you know to call them back Also, I was telling my kids about the flip phone days and having minutes plus a certain number of texts every month and how we used to have to wait until 9pm to call people if we were running low. They think I'm lying.
