Thankfully, I only use Amazon for purchases, but theirs is from December XD

 

I wish there was a way to skip or vote equal. Because, so rooms are equal or both don’t match the theme.

 

If you back out of the like screen and then return, it refreshes with different dorms. It's a way to skip, but a designated skip button would be nice for sure.

I think it would be nice too if there’s a different time to submit and to vote bec of different time zones

 

Honestly surprised I’m not seeing more posts suggesting separate timeframes for submission and voting. Yes, this is necessary so dorms obtain a relatively equal amount of visibility. I stupidly submitted my entry almost a whole day into this thing because I was overthinking what I wanted to submit. The people who submitted earlier of course would have had an advantage in getting likes due to more visibility. ATA, please implement this for upcoming iterations of this xc!

 

You and me both! It looks like I'm voting for the same people rooms over and over instead of generating rooms I haven't voted on yet. There should definitely be a dislike or skip button for the rooms left unfurnished or not matching the them. Some people are getting votes by default and that's not fair. And there is no way to actually assist people, only send a little message to people encouraging them to rate my dorm. I don't think the beta testers did adequate testing.

 

The option to create a room to submit doesn't show, I can't actually assist anyone even though I have 10 assists so I can't even vote

If you leave the like screen and then return, it refreshes with new dorms, which you can use as a way to skip. A skip button was suggested many times throughout the beta. It's not that testers didn't to "adequate testing." Devs just chose not to implement at this time.

The only way you can assist people on your friends list is if they've actually submitted a dorm. Otherwise you'll see the invite button next to their name. If you have submitted a dorm, you can see the leaderboard and give assists to anyone on it, unless they have already reached their maximum of 5 assists.

 

Make sure your app is up to date. This thread explains exactly what you need to do. Note that you cannot like other people's dorms unless you have submitted one of your own.

I did not even get the participation thing. I just decorated a room yesterday.

 

You have to get at least one vote in order to get the participation reward.

 

There's been a good bit of bugs and app crashes for me but overall the idea is interesting I like

 

Actually you can pre-submit a dorm before the XC starts (we have a whole day for that) so you won't have to be on when it does start!
