if that many people are being shot to death by cops on accident wouldnāt that be worse though? that would just make cops look even shittier thereās plenty of different struggles within the black community that BLM is trying to help fix, I havenāt been protesting against medical malpractice but I personally have been spreading awareness and donating to foundations that work to provide equal and proper medical care for black people
I dont have the statistics of how often this happens but even in Canada POC are getting brutalized by the police during wellness checks. So it must not be happening enough here, so I can only assume it's happening there too.
you sure you donāt wanna send me another middle-school insult? š„“ you havenāt used ādumbassā yet š
I don't see any replies where you did š are you confusing it with the word āidiotā? I know you used that one
Oh well thank you so much because all the stats in my previous post come from the same place just for 2018 because there is no 2019 statistics as of yet to be referenced lmao so theres that for your first one. And the same for statista tbhš 2013-2019 mainly because cop killings aren't really tracked by any official government page that i have found, its all independent. So hou can just reference my previous post for why they wouldn't be reliable for any current debate. Not that they aren't relevant tho because it shows the progression or digression of crimes when you reference earlier years. š
the creativity š„ŗš btw about one of your earlier insults, you might want to tweak it a bit for next time since the average IQ is a double digit number
š¤£š¤£You are truly an idiot. The average is 100. Math is not subjective. There is 1 correct answer and it is 100 in this case.
Their choice to quit their jobs does not equal the government actually getting rid of police departments. For those that have made the choice to quit their jobs, there are more in the police academies that are preparing to join the police forces. An abolishment would forcibly remove all cops and cops-in-training from that job market. It would no longer exist. Individual cops making the choice to no longer be a cop, regardless of however many cops are making that choice, is not an abolishment. I think @RoseMilkTea explained the point I was making perfectly in her reply above. I had answered your question, but more so in the way that your question was based on a misunderstanding of what defunding the police meant.
first thing that comes up: if im an idiot then so is the WoodcockāJohnson Test of Cognitive Abilities š„“
sure the median is 100 but even a double digit score of 90 is considered average so maybe pick a more specific insult- like a single digit IQ (;
The idea of IQ was made up by a guy (Alfred Binet) that believed in eugenics and set up IQ scores to weed out nonwhite people and disabled people. #BLM means moving on from the IQ scale as a valid determinant of intelligence. (I know y'all just joking but the IQ test is used a lot in the justice system and it's just such a biased form of measurement that it has no valid place being presented in a courtroom.)
Randomly interjecting since I know a lot about IQs because of personal life reasons. A common misunderstanding of the IQ system is that it should be used as a way to measure intellinge. The IQ only measures your ability to process and retain information. Having a high IQ does not mean that you are born intelligent the same way that having a low IQ doesn't mean that you're dumb. It all had to do with how you proccess and solve situations and problems. Another misconception, is that your IQ is permanent. Your IQ can drastically change while you're growing up and it only settles a bit around middle age, and the changes are afected by a magnitude of things, though its more normal for it to go down than up. Fun fact, the educational system is made for, what they consider the average range, which is 100 - 115. Anyone else above or bellow that might have issues in school, especially if they arent given the right tools to help them stay in track. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk. Please continue with your racial discussion now āš» Also #BlackLivesMatter
I never asked for a defintion of "defunding the police". Besides the fact that, its beyond ludicrous to do.
They are leaving their jobs because of the funds being taken away amongst other reasons like no appreciation, the risks alone arent worth it anymore.Research it.
