There's No Such Thing as Vegetables

  1. To start, I believe in vegetables. I was having a frenly argument w someone and they told me there's no such thing as a vegetable because there is no scientific definition for what a vegetable is the way there is for fruit. Most "vegetables" apparently fall into their own categories of leaves, tubers, fruit, seeds, etc and "vegetable" is just a blanket term for these things that we humans randomly grouped together. Therefore there is no such thing according to whatshisface. Thoughts on this?

  3. Sort of a weird thing to think about i guess. Technically a vegetable is just a plant used as food. So I guess if anything fruits would be vegetables, but for whatever reason, maybe natural sugar content or something certain vegetables get put in the subcategory of fruit? Idk lol

    Seeds are semen
    Vegetables are the feet, toes, heads, fingers, bodies, legs, etc. of plants.

    And if you say mushrooms are vegetables, then vegetables don't even have to be plants.
    Mushrooms aren't in the plant kingdom.

  10. No. Fruit are the ovaries. Seeds are the equivalent of eggs. Pollen is the equivalent of sperm.

    They must not have a cellphone if they're unable to google the definition of a vegetable and see that they do in fact exist.

  12. It was over our cellphones. I'm not sure where he got this definition...or I kind of have an idea but I don't know how he managed to interpret it this way
