I just wanted to bring attention to the Google play/apple store pages for our beloved game. If you're like me you probably just have auto updates on and never actually go to the page. Just read through it for me. Its probably been a year since I've read it and boy how have things changed. Ty for your time.
I'll pose a question so this doesnt get locked How would you describe this game to a friend while they are looking at the page and not seem like a weirdo?
I've tried to describe this game to two or three people and I've never managed to not make it sound weird. One of my exes thinks I post nudes here, though, and there's nuffin I can do to convince her otherwise. I had "Wednesday" written on my chest for a contest when I took a pic (I was wearing a low-cut dress when I wrote it. I ended up writing my ign on my hand anyway). I think she made an account on the app to stalk me
Anyone important in my life knows about this game at this point. It's exactly my kind of game though, so no one was overly weirded out by it. They all kind of received it with a "o, her usual shenanigans" kind of thing. Hmm. They probably thought I was weird. But... Meh. They always think that. I managed to talk a couple of people into trying it, but... Yeah... It's not for everyone... 😂 There are definitely people I'd be mortified to admit my minor addiction to. Mostly work associates. A question of ego or something I guess.
Yes. It appears they are trying hard to bring even more people to this app, but unfortunately it brings mostly the weirdos and pervs due to that description. And also people who think this is going to be one thing and then it's something completely different, so they make an account and disappear after a day, disappointed when they realize what PIMD is actually like. I've seen some people complaining that it's "not like the ads", and sincerely hope ATA hasn't resorted to the deceptive and bizarre game ads that we encounter sometimes. I don't tell many people about this, and I'm glad because that App Store page makes it even weirder. I have tried to bring closer friends into it but it wasn't their cup of tea and they didn't understand the appeal (and I couldn't explain why I like it lol)
I wonder what the most commonly used search term in the app market is that makes this a top result. 🤔
Tbh, I found this years ago when the game was new. Wish I still had access to my original account. I quickly uninstalled it because it was weird back then too. However, it popped up in my recommended apps again years later. The app store is weird like YouTube. One minute I'm watching skateboarding videos. The next minute I'm in suggested videos watching homeless people getting the Golden Buzzer on America's Got Talent. Where's the correlation? Idk 🤷♂️
It used to be a pvp game and then the devs fluffed it up with pve, pay to win parties, and pretty items that attract normies. It's like social media, too, which is cool.
