I honestly don't know how i even thought of this🤦🏽...but there are mods in pub rn (well while im on rn) and one was talking about how some things go unnoticed because it just slips by them. she said this after a player was attacking then about how they let pervs and pedophiles ask for underage players and they don't get silenced... and i was thinking (it was more so a random thought honestly 🤷🏽) but what if mods made like a discord or GC or some shit and figure out their time zones so they could take 'shift' on the game to moniter the chats that go on so people won't ask for underage players or go against the tou. honestly this thread will probably get locked for it being stupid or smth but im genuinely curious. i mean my club and others find out the time zones of their admins so they know when and who will be on at times a party needs to be started and who needs to become an admin 🤷🏽. also this is off topic but I STILL CANT POST GIFS OR PICS and people keep helping me and i even took a computer and photoship class last year and still can't freaking get it 🤦🏽
Oh yea, last night I saw someone looking for a girl around 9-15 yo. Then someone said, she's 15 yo. And idk did they get silenced or no. Also, I think they can't do shift thing because asia and US are different server?
it honestly scares me that people take advantage of the game to prey on kids. my sister is 11 and she likes/get to play the same games i have and i never told her about pictures cause of this risk. but yeah it would make it hard ti have shifts cause i only recently found out about the asian server (yesterday) and i just had this as a thought cause i was bored 😂
I'm sure mods already have a group chat. That being said they are humans, with their own lives, who have applied to volunteer to be mods. Unfortunately they can't catch everything. My suggestion is to take a ss in the case you explained and send a ticket with the link to the ss. If you are still unable to post pica or gifs you probably don't have the direct link
ok ty. and i know they can't catch everything and this isnt meant to attack them but this wad like a random thought i had in my head and i was curious to see what other people thought. but i never even knew about the asian server until yesterday and ive been playing for almost a year now 🤦🏽
Oh yeah, I'm just saying, it sucks to see shit like that and it get missed i do agree. It would be nice if they had an algorithm for certain words that automatically got picked up but i understand that could be a lot of work and might not be attainable.
thats true but i feel that if there were more mods to be able to moniter the server, even if it was just like 3 more mods, id feel that pimd would be safer from creepers. and i agree that having an algorithm that picked up words would be helpful but it would probably cause more problems to the server than there already are and peolle already get mar enough when the server goes down for even a few minutes (me being on of them😅)
They do add new mods every year, around March/April, so applications will be coming within the next season. I agree that it seems like there needs to be more mods, though... or some other way to prevent ToU violations before they're actually posted.
that's true but people always seem to get mad or triggered whenever getting a new mod is mentioned. they're but saying replace the mods theyre literally saying add more. and i didnt kniw about the new mod things every year and its always bice for me to learn something new about the game the more i play 😄
and it would be nice fir there to he a way for them to catch nasty things vefore theyre posted in chat.like instagram is introducing this thing where it will notify u if they feel ur comment it mean/inappropriate before u can post it and if pimd had something like that it'd be really cool

Mods are volunteers. Not shifted employees. Obviously understanding and obsessive app participation helps them to be qualified.
Definitely true. And no matter what, mods won’t be able to catch every little thing. But you can always try to direct them towards the problem if it’s still an issue.
