I was just watching the great british bake off, which always gives me ideas. We made some shortbreads last week but just regular ones and we were talking about the cookie exchange and i remembered we have coconut syrup or something, plus i try and put citrus into everything 😂
Yas citrus makes everything better. I didn't even realize til last christmas, we had a potluck and a fren brought chocolate chip and orange cookies (a combo I had never considered). I feel so ignorant about how to make things delicious and you guys are showing me the light
I don't know their name in English but we call it nastar here. They are like pineapple cookies? Not sure if I translate them right. But it tasted bad I admitted it lol
Literally everyone missed the point that there's like a million cookies that idk what to do with =[ I am slowly gifting them away but these cookies are too much
So I honestly don't like the way these cookies look. My friend once baked *healthy* cookies that looked like this and they were hard and tasted like chalk. She gifted my some for my birthday and I tossed them. But maybe yours are great idk!
There is nuffin healthy about these cookies nor are they hard. The dough is slightly gross to me, the recipe called for a lot of margarine and it made them a lil too rich/greasy/fatty (idk the adjective I'm looking for) tasting to me but my coworkers and family seem to like them.
