  2. It also depends on mood my dood...

    I have very rarely ever initiated contact with anyone but... somehow have managed to keep friends that I’ve met from this app for years... some for more than several...

    Somedays I feel more talkative than others...

    I’m also happier when I talk to someone that can keep me intrigued with their intelligence/sophistication level/humor/and even sometimes awkwardness... this builds a connection somehow and I can’t exactly explain why...

    The more interested they seem... the more interesting I allow myself to become. (This concept is hard to explain but it works)

    It’s also v important to be self-aware and simultaneously conscious of the mental state of others...

    Sometimes it just isn’t the right timing.

    There are some pretty cool people that missed an opportunity with me simply because they tried to have a deep discussion with me while I was catching a flight, in the middle of a recording session, chilling with my s/o and were too impatient to wait for my response.

    Make sure the person you are trying to connect with is available and open to that level of communication in the first place...

    Definitely never get angry and tell them that they are stuck up... full of themselves... or make them feel bad about not being able to respond quickly... that can earn you a block real quick.

    Show them that their time is valuable. I have rarely ever forgiven a person for waisting my time/making me feel like their time is more important than mine online. I have always made myself available for anyone who respected my time and made me feel like my company was appreciated.

  8. You could ask what they like or if they have any hobbies
    It can lead to a longer talk and if you have things in common it’s easier to carry on the conversation
