Hi guys! I will try to make this brief. Have you ever been asked if you had an item but never knew what it looked like or possibly had it but never knew you had it? Well I’ve talk to ATA before but they told me to post it here and if it warranted support it could end up happening. I see the added the starred slot to put your favorite items...but what about putting a search bar in your items showcase so you can look up an item? I know I’m one of the many that forget the names of the items and sometimes either need to see it on the trading block or take it to a third party app to actually see a picture. Wouldn’t you want to see a search bar so as lo my as you enter the name correctly or if you just put box all your boxes pop up? Or if you put chair all your chair furniture pops up instead of having to go to your furniture spot? Or if your gifting someone something can look it up by name instead of having to scroll up and down 2-3 times before finding it? what do you think of this idea? Add more to it if you can or want it would make it a hell of a lot easier to find items.
I’m not sure I understand correctly so let me know if I’m wrong but there is a search bar for your showcase if you go on view all and then go across to find item you can search anything eg. Bed, chair or the name of an item and it will show them if you own them
ATA confirmed recently when they changed up the showcases that they would be bringing an update for trades. So i think we will see some improvements soon
I read that also... but thought to myself... there is no way they could mean that after reading the last three lines of what they wrote. They said showcase but they aren’t describing the showcase... unless they haven’t updated for a long time.
For sure, and either way your post will help someone. I just am giving OP the benefit of the doubt and thinking that they mean from the point in which you have decided to send a gift after hitting the gift button... or do a trade after hitting the trade button... which IMO needs to be revamped as well. It works but... it could be better. I hope that is what they are trying to say. Who knows tho?
Ok so after reading the posts I wanna thank you for showing me this since I had no idea it was already a thing so I’m glad it is a thing...now what if the search bar was included in the trading screen or gift screen? Would be easier to gift or trade things if we type the name is as well!!
She said in "item showcase" There is no way they meant trade interface or gifting screen so you could know for sure upon the first reading.
I saw the items showcase part Kefo lol... but since I assumed most people knew about the existing search bar as it was pretty obvs to me... amongst other things... I kept reading further and saw the last three sentences they wrote... which confused me about what they were talking about (I’m not going to bother highlighting it... I’m just going to assume you read it too which made me think they could have possibly been speaking about the showcase section of gifting or when you are actually in a trade. I don’t mind my intelligence being underestimated or faith in humanity being questioned though... and when I am wrong I have no problem admitting it... please excuse my error and carry on. I’m glad that they learned something and I also agree with their suggestion... which if you look in another thread that I replied to about game improvements... you’d see I made a similar suggestion already.
