i dont say hun, like for me it’s usually ‘love’ or ‘angel’ or something like that. where i live people would say ‘flower’ or ‘chick’ a lot as well to address people. like idk why people say it, but i dont think it’s weird 🤷🏻♀️
It's a term of endearment. I personally find it to sound condescending but it usually is not intended to be mean-spirited.
Although sometimes it is meant to be mean-spirited and then it’s left up to how you read the comment.
