  1. The title explains it all:
    This thread is made for facts, they could be wacky, crazy, funny, or just a little known fact! You know what they say, you learn something new everyday.

    My first FOTD (Fact Of The Day)
    Did you know that the Obama phone program was originally started by Ronald Reagan, it wasn't popularized until Obama was in office, hence why everyone knows them as Obama phones

    For those of you who don't know what an Obama phone is, it's a free phone provided by the government to low income families.

  16. Is this person basing it off of todays gold prices or when the song came out? The average violin weighs 400-500 Grams according to google, in 1998 when the song came out the price of gold was $288.70/OZ of gold. If you convert grams into OZ it comes out to be approximately 14 OZ which would've made the violin worth approximately $4,070 just in weight alone. Even with todays gold prices it would only be worth about 21K my math might be wrong though 🤷‍♂️

  17. Like around 2 years ago the math was done so idk. I think it was done with the gold prices at that time.
