So hear me out. I don't use anything other than auto-join mainly because I can't trust bounceforcers. I've had one too many issues with them going rogue and kicking people wildly. Yes there's a point to this, keep reading... Well, what happens if someone joins and is over the limit and they decide to cause problems? So you kick them, and than what? They can still come back. Well what if we came up with a ban button? That way we can keep auto-join on and not worry about the problem causers to return? TL;DR A ban button to prevent people from coming back that are over the club requirements
Literally never had an issue with BFs or any other admins going absolutely rogue, and my club is over a year old. šŖ
Both what SweetGummyBear & Muschi have said are good points but that doesnāt mean itās not a good idea
I havent had and issues with bouncers but also it helps to keep track on whoās banned especially if new admins come along! I support
Iām for it! Iāve never had issues with any of my bouncers but they arenāt on all the time. Everybody has their own life to live. And I like the idea of being able to keep track on whose banned.
I love how you acted all coy as if you couldn't remember who suggested it and you're the one who did š¤£
Itās an awkward position to be in sometimes. I see someone make a thread about a game/giveaway/contest/idea that I have already done and itās like dammit... Do I sit here and take away from their idea by saying āOh hey, look at me, that was my idea first... youāre just a copycat or donāt know how to use the search feature in forumsā or just support the idea because I feel itās a good one no matter who suggested it.... and maybe link the previous post, so the OP can improve their idea and we can align together with the motive of improving the game for everyone. There are some other things done in forums that are borrowed from me as well (not suggesting that you deliberately borrowed from my idea... Iām sure it is purely coincidental that they are similar), but I donāt want to go off topic... I support your idea. Good luck.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback, I just thought it to be funny, doesn't matter who came up with the idea first, I just don't normally search forums, I look on the first few pages and if it's not in active topics I'll post something. I mean it seemed like a good idea. It would defo make things easier to keep track of
An example of me practicing what I am preaching about the 8th post down on my thread made just over a year agoš¤š¾
