  9. Hollup what do you mean by write up? Like its history, how it rose in price, the bubble, the scandals involving Bitcoin? What's the marking rubric here?

  10. It does have an interesting history, the bubble yes it was in a bubble but isnt everything in a bubble today? Scandals sure.

    But my objective here is for ppl to research on bitcoin and understand what it is, how it can solve the 100 years old byzantine generals problem that no one else could, what it means for economy, for people. I want everyone to learn how bitcoin is the greatest invention of our era, prolly equivalent to the invention of electricity, how it is not just a coin, but an entire monetary system. How it is gonna bring about freedom from financial slavery, etc.

  15. Well if we're gonna go down that lane, the currency notes U use have no intrinsic value. It gets it monetary value cuz ppl trust it, they have trusted it for years now but it has failed us time and again. Now people are losing trust in the centeal bank/ govt issued currency and when trust starts fading it starts losing value.

    So before u come up with bizarre statements like that, try to understand what money is and where it gets the value from

  19. i did say its not a coin its an entire monetary system and i stand by my words. But it takes more than a simpleton to understand bitcoin so i totally understand why u dont understand what it is.

    Anyway, thanks for keeping the thread alive. I hope u keep doing so. The bitcoin community will never forget your contribution
