I request you to please read this thread. I am not a good writer but I feel the need of writing this. I love my country so I would like to bring out few things. I'm not generalising this nor am I saying that everyone is a racist, but there is a group of people who thinks India is limited to "Sand Bobs And Vagana" . Well it's not. India is a big country with 1.2 billion population, the second in the world and this country is know for it's diversity. We have every skin color. We have over 1200 official languages and we have a rich culture. Also we are the largest democracy. People who thinks India is full of perverts,well the world is full of perverts. And there are some people who says all Indians are dumb,but if you check the internet, most of the great leaders of many giant organisation are Indians. The Google you use have it's CEO named Sundar Pichai and is from India. All I'm saying is, India doesn't define dumb people or pervert people. There are many good people in this country with whom if you have dealt, you would have know how a nice Indian is like. Moreover ,with this thread I'm not generalising or saying that this is view of every people around here. But the people who thinks and says rude things about my country,its for them. It feels bad to listen bad things about my own country. I think internet plays a great role in making the world a better place . We know my country have many issues. We are learning, help us instead of trolling. Like I said I'm not a good writer. I tried my best to express my feelings. If you read this thread thank you for your time.
I live in a very heavily indian populated city, I'm greatful for the diversity. And importantly the curries. There are always shitty people who give everyone else a bad name. Best is to just be authentically you and prove people other wise.
I stopped reading halfway because you lack paragraphs and it became tiresome but I think I got the gist of it, and what I want to tell you is this: America's image of the world is what we get to see when it comes to learning about other countries because Western media is commonly accepted as the main form of news, which at times is a joke. Africa is supposedly a barren wasteland where lions run in the bushveld and children are starving with malaria, meanwhile I, sitting in a suburban household, have never even seen a single wild animal with my own eyes. Nothing you say on these public chats will have any kind of effect on people. Those willing to look past the stereotypes will come do the research and see that the things that you are saying are true, but unfortunately this isn't really the place to address it, or in this manner.
I’ve never heard of any of these things you say people believe and I live in a pretty redneck part of the USA
Sometimes, people take little jokes and turn them into actually harmful stereotypes about groups of people instead of just realizing they are meant to be jokes and not accurate reflections of people.
Excuse me, I can only dish out criticism, not take it, so if you could kindly hold all criticism regarding my negative traits until the end of the show, that'd be great
Never said it wasn't, but if figuring out where to place commas and periods as they're reading is tiresome, maybe they should practice sentence structure a little more. Not that difficult to figure out. That's all I'm saying
