Oh Gucci nooooo!!

  1. Has anyone else seen the new Gucci campaign advertising their activewear? ACTIVEWEAR WHERE? I'm so done with fashion these days. Who even decided this looks good? Did anyone test it for practicality?

Aaaanyway. While I weep for future generations and the days of punk aesthetic past. Amuse me with your worst fashion faux pas. Something you wore and regret. Something that's "fashionable" that you despise. Or a fashion choice you love that everybody else seems to hate. Bonus points for pictures.

  4. Ngl... they’ve (Gucci) done some questionable things for sure... borderline boycott-able things... but I kinda like this.

  5. I thought about writing activeWHERE? But made it obvious for the less attentive. 😂 I definitely don't see anything that would be practical to exercise in. 🤣

  6. Agreed with being questionable. I also won't buy Dolce & Gabbana because they are opposed to LGBT families (despite being gay themselves) and spoke publicly about it. And that's minor in comparison to other issues. I don't tend to buy luxury designer brands in general. They all have controversy attached to them. Which sucks cause I kinda like D&G glasses frames. 😂

  7. I can't think of anything I wore that I regret rly. I'm not a fan of leggings as pants or yellow gold jewelry. I used to hate batwing blouses and cardigans but now I don't mind either. As for things I lub that others don't seem to like...round glasses? Altho I get a lot of compliments on them so maybe it's more like ppl don't want them for themselves? I also had a friend tell me high waisted shorts are for grandmas but I think they look super cute and lots of ppl wear them so he may be alone in that train of thought.

  9. The tracksuit looks like it'd be the most functional out of all of them but then again who would wear Gucci to workout in and get all sweaty? 🤔

  10. Listen man. My wardrobe is literally the selection of clothing you’d find at hot topic. Khakis are too normie for me 🤧

  11. Who would want to be active in several thousand dollar clothes anyway? Like it's gonna get all dirty and worn out and sweaty...

  12. I think it's just a fashion thing and gives the illusion of athleticism? One of my exes brothers stole a credit card off a dead guy and tried to buy a Gucci track suit with it a few years ago because he thought it would make him look tough or something. Credit card got declined obvs.

  13. Oh, wow, soooooo tough to steal something from someone that can't defend their property 😬🤭 yikes af though

  14. Well y would someone go to Gucci for activewear? even celebrities just wear it just to walk around in. Its just for leasure and fashion at the same time.
I think higher end brands don’t pertain to practicality.
If you noticed when celebrities actually work out they wear nike or adidas activewear which is made for working out.

  17. It’s not several thousand, but ummm I buy Tommy Hilfiger activewear just for fashion. Like I wanna look dope, as I am comfortable.

  18. I get activewear as fashion, but like Gucci? AND it's ugly? It could be the most comfortable item in the world but I will not be forking out $2.5k for track pants that make me look like I'm the tile flooring of a '50s-themed diner

  19. Extra practical shoe choice for an active wear line.

  20. While I definitely do not consider myself an activewear enthusiast, those definitely don't look like they are made to be easy to move around in.

I used to have this pair of converse high heels (yes, you read that correctly) and I used to think they were sooo cool. Then, I saw a picture a few years after they had fallen apart and... 😬

I don't care for the cuffed boyfriend fit pant- I just feel like they look like you are getting ready to paint a fence or catch crawdads or something. Some people look cute in them, though.
