  1. The only time I call soda “pop” is when I’m talking about a pop bottle.
    Even the soda emoji isn’t brought up when you type up pop.

  2. The terms "coke" (not just for Coca-Cola) and "soft drink" exist too. Coke is primarily American South, and I think soft drink is primarily the U.K. (although you sometimes see it in the U.S., at least in the Northeast). Oh, and I've also seen "sodapop" but I think that's a Midwestern U.S. thing?

    I personally say soda.

  8. We call it soft drink in Australia! I say "I feel like some fizzy" sometimes but I think that's the influence of media. 🙊

  10. When I went to school in Florida, this guy from New York would call if “ soda pop” and I thought it was so freaking adorable. My best friend from Ohio calls it “pop”
