He likes treats too much and will cuddle you to death. He won’t shut up about what he did outside either. He also talks in his sleep.
I haven't had any experiences that were too bad. I've only lived in two roommate situations tho. First one, I was living with a police officer and this 40 something year old woman and her toddler. Toddler and woman had a bedroom, police officer recently broke an engagement. V nice ppl. I barely saw them. The police dude made me dinner and drove me to work sometimes when I woke up late. I actually ended up being the bad roommate by leaving all my things in my bedroom and disappearing into the night with my purse and never returning, completely unexplained. I had good reasons but I lost my cell phone the same day so I couldn't call and let them know what happened. To this day I have no clue what happened to my things, hopefully they noticed some of it was valuable and sold it rather than just throwing it all in the trash. Second experience. I lived with my bff of about a decade. We don't talk anymore but I don't hate her or anything. She always had her boyfriend over and made things rly uncomfortable. He would spend hours in the kitchen making her dinner and making it so I wasn't allowed to be in the kitchen. They also liked to take up both couches if they were in the living room so I wasn't allowed to be there if they were there, either. They also had rly loud shower sex a lot which was annoying and they woke me up on many occasions just being loud assholes. She also broke some of my kitchenware and then got mad when I asked she reimburse me and she just kind of stopped being a good friend in general, not that she was ever that great anyway. I technically have one other experience in which I slept on a friend's couch for about a month and a half when I was a teen. Horrible experience but we still talk and imma chalk it up to stressful times being had by all and decide that they're not actually monsters
My ex was a bad roommate. Back when we were still dating, he got kicked out of his house so I let him stay with me in mine. Long story short, not only did he not do anything but drink and play games with his buds, but when he did do something he did it wrong (i.e., not fully cleaning the dishes and still putting them away, sweeping up dirt and just leaving the piles, using ceramic stove top cleaner as granite counter top cleaner, etc). These may have been little things, but the two things that ultimately broke us up and got him kicked out was one, he invited a friend over and his friend stole my checkbook. Two, I have a guest room set up for my mom, and she has a dresser of clothes. I caught him rummaging through her drawer that had her undies
OHHHH BOIII this is the post i’ve been waiting for. First of all my first roommate was a major bigot who 1) defended hitler, 2) drove drunk and 3) crashed my car into a tree bc she was driving it drunk lol
Oh i didn’t, she just took it but she wasn’t drinking when she left either way. it was after, and i only knew because she left the cans in my car after it was crashed. i would never let anyone drive drunk ☹️
A roommate and I went halves on security cameras. One outside and one in the main entry (so if anyone did get it, we had their face and aproximate height) My roommate, knowing these cameras are there, did the dirty deed with some dude from tinder. It being a new face, it alerted my phone and I.. She also broke my futon. Simply, she paid the last two months of rent, and I moved tf out.
JESUS. I wouldn't have kept the friendship, either! That would be enough to do me in. All but the last paragraph is part of what's going on with mine. Switch drinking with smoking weed. Little things add up and eventually it's all lumped together into one big thing and it's impossible to continue living together. 😳😳😳😳😳 Holy shiiit. Did you know the first thing before you two started living together? Kind of makes me wonder if it was a kink, lol. Good ole fashioned exhibitionism. I can see that being extremely uncomfortable, though!
