Let's talk. I disagree with the song as much as I love it. People don't change. However the film clip is also stupid. You can't go back to how you were in the beginning. People talk about it, but it never happens. Either way, it's wrong. People suck.
That's a very glass half empty kind of way to look at the world, to say people will forever be the same, have the same intentions, do the same actions forever isn't really a fair way to see things. People do change, some people really do just need time. Perfect example is addiction, the opposite of addiction isn't sobriety, it's connection. When you fix someone's habit and connect them with people everything changes. Time heals everything
I'm not watching this video, but. People change all the time idk what you mean. Look back at who you were a year ago, likely a lot has changed even if you don't notice.
I don't mean people in general. I mean people in relationships. As per the video is referring to, but you didn't watch it. So... I just mean, when people turn for the worse in relationships, 9 times out of 10, they don't change back to who they were. It's sad sometimes.
I know the cliche that breaks never works and I agree they don't most of the time but yeah people go on breaks and they come back after finding whatever they were looking for and it helps them, or better yet when people need space, sometimes you need to be alone and reevaluate things and need time to fix yourself if you want someone
For how long after until they need a 'break' again? I don't believe in breaks. You either want to be the best person you can for the one you love, or you don't. If you don't, leave and don't put that person through hell trying to love you.
