I was enjoying that but yesterday someone spammed me with 6 likes for no reason and it hurt my soul a little.
I think the leaderboard and likes will be okay when things settle down. While I feel it's pretty useless, I gain a sense of satisfaction when ppl who don't normally like my content approve of one of my posts. I have never liked the use of likes in arguments on facebook especially when the person arguing the dumb opinion gets them. Perhaps a limit of one like per minute, or a set number per day like speakers will encourage people to be more selective with their likes, or we could have a dislike feature. I think the likes could be good overall. Quoting posts to show admiration can get a bit spammy.
I like the dislike button idea, but I wanna make a clarification that this should NOT mean that it becomes like up-votes and down-votes on Reddit where it affects the post's visibility and the order it shows up in. Just feel like that clarification needs to be made. 😌
i like the "likes" cause they somehow give me a reaction if the comment or post is worth reading. i dont really care whether im a new member or be a well-known member. I used to not go in the old forums because it was hard for me to use. Now, i just love how they made it easier to use and i didn't know that there are a lot of cool people to meet here. 😊

I guess likes are a good way to say some one that you have read their post and it's worth reading without saying a word.
