Remember when pvp came to life? Even after all these non stop premium parties just to hunt, the ape found a way to bring them back officially. And new players has given a chance to experience the PVP life. I won't make this long since I think I'll just get no support after all.. 🙄 Why not try to bring the avis from the past? Like (5 Years ago). You know there's plenty of us that want some avi's but never had the chance to have it cause its from the old pimd. I don't know how to do it but maybe it can be through hunt it can be through an optional story like what you did from the special story (Snowglobe: Were you need to buy it from the store and a special story is available) or just a daily deals from store. K tysm.
I don’t think this is a bad idea, but would it be avis specifically from a certain hunt? Or more like fan favorites?
They sort of did a throwback last month for Pride ー they included last year's Pride avis in addition to making new ones, with a slight tweak to the old ones by adding the octo plush. It'd be interesting to see if they would continue this in the future.
Pretty not a bad idea tbh. And I don't think that when the devs repeat something, its called being lazy.
Then theres me who has avi from 6 years ago, skip skip skip to now. Missed all the past hunts, avis, etc. But i feel the old avi is kind of an achievement for playing pimd at that time. I really want some past avis but no idea how they would approach this. Maybe a vote every month of some kind....
These people don't care about avi stats anyway. I'm all for a slower powercreep and buffing of old avis if a.t.a want to. But they gotta tell us the new stats. The last and only item they buffed was the frankenpug which they also made available for a short time. They dropped from parties as a random drop.
For their 9th anniversary in December, maybe have 1 set of avis from each of the previous 8 years available for a limited time. Or take some of their OG avis and redraw them to fit the current art style, sort of like, "Look how far we've come!"
I kind of like the idea of having a throwback hunt in general. Maybe not the same avatars, but they could recreate some with a more current style.
You're special because some people love you for who you are. You're special because you've done good to someone. Now stop saying you're not going to be special just because another person has your avi.
