Then it gets complicated, ofc. We all know the crazy cat person type who only like felines. Reptile people are cold. Definitely keep an eye on them. Only liking birds just makes you a weirdo. I don't know anyone who only likes dogs. 🤔 Dog people must be all right overall ig.
A lot of cat haters seem to only like dogs and tbh I think we need to keep an eye on anyone who says they hate cats, so. I did not know about the birb and reptile ppl but thank you for enlightening
Idk tbh but open your discussion. Most days I feel like I can't stand them but I also think they're cute and don't want bad things to happen to them. Is there a term for ppl like that?

Okay, that's understandable but there are people who just purely hate them. I'm not sure. But I am sure there's a psychological reason behind it.
I think they're just crazy tbh. It's a mental illness to completely hate children, even adult mammals of other species feel inclined to take care of human children (the same way a lot of humans think kittens and puppies are cuter than the adult versions and more likely to take care of them).
Personally i think most kids are annoying and gross. But then i also get baby fever whenever i see toddlers so it's a constant internal struggle
No more than people who literally hate those who they can empathize best with: those of their own species. To hate humans is more telling of sociopathy, psychopathy, murderous intent, callousness, etc. The ability to extend one's empathy outward from humans to animals is a bit more exclusive. But also, I'd be willing to bet that psychopaths who are incapable of empathizing with people are also incapable of empathizing with animals.
It’s not that I don’t like kids but my little brothers are so annoying... like babies are so adorable, but then my brothers make me think twice.
