    1. What is PIMD?
Party in my Dorm, commonly referred to as 'PIMD', is an online multiplayer game in which you fill up dorms with your crew while completing jobs and joining clubs to make your reputation soar!

    a. Campus Chat
In order to post a message on Campus Chat, you need to have an item called a speaker. You can buy a speaker in the store. One speaker token costs one Extra Credits, which you can purchase from the Nurse.

    2. Terms of Use
The Terms of Use (ToU) are the terms that you automatically agree to when you download Party in my Dorm, whether you have read them or not.

    a. Consequences
    • Silence- When you are unable to talk to or communicate in any way with players on PIMD except for on forums and your Club Announcement for 24 hours.
    • Permanent Silence- On your third silence, it becomes permanent. This means you will never be able to talk, unless you somehow convince ATA (A Thinking Ape) to unsilence you.
    • Ban- When you are permanently not allowed in the game.
    • Forum Ban- When you are permanently banned, or not allowed, to post in PIMD's forums. This will happen when you consistently break the ToU in forums.

    i. How to get Unsilenced/Unbanned
If a mod silences you, don't chuck a spazz, mods can't un silence people. If you really think the you were silenced un-fairly, then you can email the developers at support@athinkingape.com.
You should set the email out like this:

    To: support@athinkingape.com

    Subject: Unsilencing Me.

    Dear ATA,
I play the game Party in my Dorm. My user name is Insert Username and I am emailing you about why I should be un-silenced.
The reason(s) why I think I should be un-silenced are: Insert Reasons
Thank you for taking your time to read this, I hope to here from you soon.

By telling the truth and giving good reasons why you should be unsilenced, the devs may just unsilence you.

    3. Moderators and Developers
Moderators and developers are the people who keep this game safe and running. When you see a player with a green name in Campus Chat or on Forums, that player is a moderator.

    a. Moderators
Moderators, or referred to as mods and RAs, are the players assigned by the developers to help them keep this game safe.
    i. Who are the Current Mods?
The current mods of PIMD are:

ii. Who are the Past Mods?
    iii. What can they do?
    Moderators can do the following:
    • Silence players for breaking the Terms of Use.
    • Erase a player's status if it breaks the Terms of Use (this automatically happens if a player is silenced).
    • Request a forum ban for repeat offenders.
    • Have an excellent green name in campus chat so that every time they post there they'll be besieged with 'OMG why is your name green???' wall posts.
    • Receive lots of speakers in order to moderate campus chat
    • Emails sent by moderators to support@athinkingape.com are flagged and thus their concerns usually get dealt with quicker.
    • Access and log into forums from a PC in order to delete, lock or move threads.
    • Recommend a player to be a moderator.
iv. How do I Become One?
You can become a moderator by emailing support@athinkingape.com saying:
    • Your Username
    • Your Name
    • Your Age/Birthday
    • What Game You Play (PIMD)
    • Your PIMD History (i.e. when you started, etc.)
    • Your Qualities that Apply to the Moderator Role
    • What Region You Are From (USA, Asia, etc.)
    • Why You Want to be a Mod
    • What You Like About PIMD
    • Have You Been Silenced?
    • Do You Report Violators of the ToU?
    • What Have You Done to Help the PIMD Community?
    • Why You Would be a Good Moderator
    • Any Additional Information

    b. Developers
The developers are the people who made this amazing game, and a few others.
    i. Who are the Developers?
    The developers' accounts are:
    ii. What can they do?
The developers can do everything a mod can do, and can also:
    • Unsilence players.
    • Assign moderators.
    • Pretty much anything.

    a. Is There a Fee?
The ATM charges 20% for all deposits, but when you withdraw your cash, there is no banking fee.

    b. Guides You Should Check Out!

    17. Battles
Battles are attacks that mainly use strength. In PIMD, they are a common form to make lots of money. Farming, which is when you hit one person five times or more in a 24-hour period, is what a lot of PIMD players do.

    a. Types of Battles
When you battle, there are four ways to choose from:
    • Fight- a type of attack using mainly strength.
    • Dance Off- a type of attack using mainly intelligence.
    • Eavesdrop- a type of attack that shows you what crew your opponent has, and what chance you have of winning.
    • Prank- a type of attack that lowers your opponent's energy and/or destroys items.

    b. DTW/DTS?
Most of you have probably heard someone say "That person is DTW/DTS!" Some of you were probably like, "Boy, whatchu talkin bout?"
DTW stands for "Defender Too Weak", which means you are either too strong to attack that person, or that person is pinned.
DTS stands for "Defender Too Strong" which means you are too weak to attack that person, or they are pinned.
