Over the past few months we've seen an increased number of reports from players who are the target of in-game extortion. Extortion meaning harassing players with the goal of acquiring payment in the form of real world currency or in-game items with an Extra Credit value. While we understand the social behaviour of in-game rivalries, battles, and farming we feel the need to implement policies against this sort of extreme harassment in order to provide our players with a safe and enjoyable environment. That means from this point forward intentionally targeting (or harassing) players with the intention of extorting real world currency or items with an Extra Credit value is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: Real World Currencies (Both digital and physical) Prepaid Gift Cards (iTunes, Visa, Load, etc) Items with an Extra Credit value (Cash Gifts, Hypnocats, etc). Players found to be engaging in this sort of extreme harassment and extortion are subject to having action taken against their accounts. Note: While this post addresses only a single type of situation, we will continue to take action for other forms of harassment at our discretion.
