Party in my Dorm, commonly referred to as 'PIMD', is an online multiplayer game in which you fill up dorms with your crew while completing jobs and joining clubs to make your reputation soar! a. Campus Chat In order to post a message on Campus Chat, you need to have an item called a speaker. You can buy a speaker in the store. One speaker token costs one Extra Credits, which you can purchase from the Nurse. 2. Terms of Use, Rules of Conduct, and Other Information The Terms of Use (ToU) are the terms that you automatically agree to when you download Party in my Dorm, whether you have read them or not. The Rules of Conduct (RoC) are similar to the ToU but goes into more detail about what can and can't be said or posted in club chat, forums, on walls, or in your status message. The Forum Code of Conduct (FCoC) are rules that are similar to the Roc but goes into more detail about what you can post on forums and what you can’t. The Current Personal Information Policy is a document that explains what is allowed and what is not allowed currently on Party in My Dorm. These are General Guidelines and any action taken is at the discretion of the moderators. a. Consequences Silence - When you are unable to talk to or communicate in any way with players on PIMD except for on forums and your Club Announcement for 24 hours. Permanent Silence - On your third silence, it becomes permanent. This means you will never be able to talk, unless you somehow convince ATA (A Thinking Ape) to unsilence you. Ban - When you are permanently not allowed in the game. Forum Ban - When you are permanently banned, or not allowed, to post in PIMD's forums. This will happen when you consistently break the ToU in forums i. How to get Unsilenced/Unbanned If a mod silences you, don't chuck a spazz, mods can't unsilence people. If you really think the you were silenced un-fairly, then you can email the developers at support@athinkingape.com. You should set the email out like this: To: support@athinkingape.com Subject: Unfair Silence ii. Perm Silence Appeal Format When appealing a perm silence please follow this format: To: support@athinkingape.com Subject: Appealing a Perm Silence b. Guides You Should Check Out! Moderators, Developers and Honor Students Moderators and developers are the people who keep this game safe and running. When you see a player with a green name in Campus Chat or on Forums, that player is a moderator. a. Moderators Moderators, or referred to as mods and RAs, are the players assigned by the developers to help them keep this game safe. They are Green! i. Who are the Current Mods? The current mods of PIMD are: Just_a_face_in_the_crowd Riccena FootLongSandwich Bluntwiches SmashKetchum -Mr_V- Mrs-Nascar iBabyAlienAbductedYou -Ahli-LovesMike MrsPerez Jerk IQueenCheri_GiveCherryKisses i_am_PapiChulo Deviant_ iFallFromGrace rachellgorgeous ---V_xXx_V--- -AngelofDarkness- MrsByte No_Entry Pinktink SYN_LurKinG_WoLveRinE -liiil-xxx-illyria-xxx-liiil- -_A_-FallingStars -I-LadyDynamiteBringsTheBoom- -SIN-SWEET-HONEY Forever meggyboo Nick Sinderella ll--MRS_Collins--ll -Anickelinyourpocket- MYS_Krissy_TIC iPixie_Gives_Sparkly_KissesXxX iii. What can they do? Moderators can do the following: Silence players for breaking the Terms of Use. Erase a player's status if it breaks the Terms of Use (this automatically happens if a player is silenced). Request a forum ban for repeat offenders. Have an excellent green name in campus chat so that every time they post there they'll be besieged with 'OMG why is your name green???' wall posts. Receive lots of speakers in order to moderate campus chat Emails sent by moderators to support@athinkingape.com are flagged and thus their concerns usually get dealt with quicker. Access and log into forums from a PC in order to delete, lock or move threads. Recommend a player to be a moderator. iv. How do I Become One? Minimum Requirements You must meet the following criteria to apply for moderator: Age requirement: 18 or older An account that has been active for 6 or more months Active community participation (forum posts, global chat, wall posts etc.) of helpful and considerate nature No history of account abuse or recent history of silences For more information on how to apply review the FAQ on this: Moderator Application FAQ Copy and paste this into your web browser. Tutor Chat Tutor Chat can be found when you tap the bottom of the screen, and then press "Tutor" in the top right. When you post, that post goes to your pupil (the person that hired you last) and all of your hired tutors. d. Dropping a Tutor The amount that you receive from dropping a tutor is 60% (that's 60% of the value you purchased them at, not 60% of their current value). Also, there is no infinite money loophole. Tutors drop in value after they are dropped, but their value is higher than the refund amount. e. Guides You Should Check Out! On your profile, what only YOU see is: Items Defenses won/lost in all attacks Eavesdrop attacks won/lost Prank attacks won/lost Strength/Intelligence bonuses Options b. Kcs? A lot of people ask: what does "kcs" mean? K=thousand, CS=combined stats. So, kcs means your strength and intelligence bonus combined. c. Relationship/Spinner Relationship This new Relationship was made to encourage players to work together and build their stats together, while getting some pretty cool bonuses while doing so. The first and most important thing is that when in a Relationship with another player, you will receive 10% of their overall stats. Look at your profile and you can figure out your partners stats or figuring out their Relationship Bonus (RB) to you. [ You will notice there are 6 buttons under your avatar. There is: Ask Out, Date, Transfer EC, Request, Gift, and Break Up. Ask Out You can ask out anyone really ! Now, the first time you ever ask anyone out, it will be free. DO NOT make this decision lightly, because if you end up "Breaking Up" (scroll down to the "Breaking Up" section to learn more about that) with someone, any time you try to ask someone out again, it will cost you 79 EC's When either you or your partner accepts the Relationship, it will be announced in World Chat, so everyone can see. You can NOT ask more than one person out at a time. If you have asked someone out and no longer wish to be in a Relationship with them before they accept, go to the ask out page and click "Cancel" to cancel the request. If you spent EC when asking someone out, you will be refunded. Date Dating is quite important. It can be useful when attacking, defending, regenerating, or some other fun uses. These dates can be helpful in wars, farming, or being farmed. List of Dates: Transfer Ec You can send EC to your RS partner now ! Request This is where you can Accept or Reject any people who have asked you out. Gift Well, they are showcase items, that's somewhat special, but these gifts are only available if you are in a Relationship with someone. You can only gift these gifts to the person you are in a Relationship with, and no one else. Break up Breaking up with people is quite easy to do. On the "Relationship" page, the "Breakup" button will be on the bottom right and it is the only red button on that page. Click "Breakup" and then "Breakup" again and then you will have officially broken up with that person. No they do not have my email on hot line They instructed me to email them as soon as I posted this for them to review it.
I don't see why they changed it to meagans name just because its updated ... Should've left Oreos name and gave her credit in the thread
Actually, I had talked to Oreo..... And she said that it was okay for me to remake the guide and update it.
GREAT JOB!!! Nice update to Oreo's thread!!! Meg did this all by the book... spoke with Oreo and with support.
Ty JEN! They didn't change anything actually.... It's a new Post... Basically a remake of the original thread so that it would be updated to the current date. It's very important to keep guides up to date. Anyways, like Jen said... I had emailed support about remaking/updating her guide then talked to her about it.... And she decided that it would be better for me to make this because she wasn't up to date on current information. Then, showed support her approval of me updating/remaking her thread... Anyways..... All the credit goes to Oreo in the first place.
This is an awesome update! Good job, it's very helpful when new players need guidance but don't know how to navigate the forum.
