When everything she promises is so comforting..
I’m iffy tbh. Can’t seem to find a path in this thing called life and it’s frustrating. This is just some poetry I’ve written. I wanted to share somewhere and figured this was good as anything.

It's hard for me to tell if the finish line referenced here is death or life. The only final state is death but it doesn't sound like what you want in other parts of this poem. Should I take this ambiguity to be a sign that you're questioning/confusing the status of each? Cause that'd be cool, but there is no finish line in life. It's the journey that makes it worth it, and it's important not to fixate too much on any goals because they don't define you. We can do more than minimize pain in life. We can actually enjoy it, and you deserve to.
